Wow! Those sandwiches are amazing!
The portions are small, food has not taste, and it feels more expensive than it should be
Good food, sandwich portions never seem consistent.
Sorta pricey for what we got honestly. Having to shout over a display counter to order was off putting.
Ordered a 2 cajun turkey with avocado and 1 Hell’s Kitchen sandwich to go and the avocado was spoiled. Attempted to call twice to report the spoiled avocado and no one answered. We also did not get the side pickle that was supposed to come with each sandwich.
First, I have only visited this deli once so this might be an off-experience. Overall, we found the food pretty unremarkable. The sandwiches were supposed to be on ciabatta bread, that was confirmed by the server. However, the bread did not look or taste like ciabatta at all (see photos). Moreover, the service was weird. There was only one person taking the order and making the sandwiches while the other person (maybe a trainee?) was just sweeping the place for the one hour we were there. It took about 40 mins to just place the order (there were only 3 people ahead of me) and then, I asked if minor customizations were possible (e.g. no tomato, avocado on the side). I'd have been fine if they said no, but the server assured me it was perfectly fine. However, the sandwiches came out as standard, no changes were incorporated. It was quite disappointing overall I'd say. I hope this was just an off-experience and not a norm.
I absolutely LOVE the Portland location. This one is good quality wise, for some reason the customer service is always kind of a miss. I feel like an inconvenience when I walk in lol. It honestly kind of makes me anxious going in. That being said, I LOVE the Hell’s Kitchen sandwich and the smoothies, so I usually suffer through the anxiety to come here since I’m more local to Auburn!
Absolutely love this deli! The variety in their menu and the clean ingredients were amazing. The fact that they make their many breads fresh there in store is also wonderful!! Service was fabulous, friendly, and helpful.
Love this place. The Cajun turkey on marbled rye is amazing for lunch!! The Hell’s Kitchen bagel for breakfast is also amazing! Also the loafs of bread you can buy and take home are so good!!
Stopped in for dinner and the service and food were great. Restaurant was clean.

We chose Heidi’s for our corporate luncheon, and we were all so thrilled with that choice! Not only was the food fresh and delicious, but the staff were so easy to deal with. We had some vegetarian and gluten-free options that were met easily, and it was one of the more affordable options in the area. Overall, it was such a great choice, and we will definitely be ordering from them again!

You can usually grade these sub places based on their bread. And let me tell you their bread is fantastic! None of that foam crap you see at firehouse or Jersey Mike’s. Employees are super nice and place is very clean would highly recommend this place for your sub fix then anywhere else.
