The Auburn mall is dead and depressing even by 21st century mall standards. But somehow Thatcher's is thriving! Even though I visited a bit after 2:00 on a Wednesday afternoon-- which you'd think would be after any lunch rush and before any dinner rush-- the place was doing a brisk business. We stopped by for a drink and something to eat.Reagan was the bartender. She was very friendly. She made the special of the day drink, a Peacharita. Yummy.The sweet potato fries are good too.

Solid food, particularly for a mall. Funny little space with a cramped full bar and maybe ten or so booths. Bar was packed at like 1:30 on a Wednesday afternoon on Xmas break.
