I had just been through a really stressful situation on the road after being aggressively cut off and brake-checked by another driver, and by the time I got to Starbucks I was already shaken up emotionally. Then my card declined because of a temporary hold on my account, and I felt completely embarrassed and overwhelmed.
Sydney was incredibly patient, calm, and compassionate with me during a moment where I truly needed kindness. Without hesitation, she made sure I still got my food and treated me with so much dignity and understanding. I recently started a new job and money has been very tight, so what may have seemed like a small gesture meant more to me than I can explain.
