Good breakfast, lunch and dinner options with a bakery display case at the front. Great service and a cozy diner atmosphere.

I would like to provide a better rating but the last time my husband and I dined there just 2 weeks ago, we were supremely disappointed. The brisket I ordered was paper thin, and the corn chowder was dismal - just a few kernels of corn, no taste at all, and yet were charged (overcharged) $17.99/bowl. I would suggest the cook dine at Lisa's in Augusta to see how real good home-style cooking is done, especially their corn chowder - which is to die for, and yet only $10/bowl. Their breakfast is outstanding, however, so I will return if only for their pancakes...

This diner is adorable, the food was delicious and the staff and local patrons were so nice! Extra shout out to our very helpful waitress Debra,Thank you so much :) She gave great suggestions(My bf loved the poutine burger) and was a big part of the overall experience. We will be back for sure.
P.s. the pastry case is full of all kinds of treats, go check this place out🍰🧁🍩

I’m from up north in Maine and came down to Togus we stopped in for lunch and had a cup and a bowl of chili. It was terrible the chili was very runny with little substance and tasted like it came out of a tin can. No roll or cornbread to go with it. I’ve been belching an awful taste all afternoon. The service was very good but that is where it ended.
Delicious food and great service.

Service was good, and I had an excellent breakfast burrito with scrambled eggs, bacon, salsa, and sour cream. They offer a veggie omelette that my hubby had and enjoyed. They have a bakery in the restaurant with desserts you can buy and take out e.g., eclairs, whoopie pies
I would definitely visit the Country Diner again when driving through the area.

We had 2 mixed seafood baskets today that we were not at all impressed with. The fried clams were wet and soggy. The batter wasn't staying on any of the seafood. I was very surprised because we've ordered the mixed seafood basket before and it was very good. I'm not sure what happened this time, but they're so expensive, it's a shame. 😒
I really feel bad for Debbie and the other service they try their best but have to make up excuses all the time. Cooks are very important part of bringing business back but when they do what they want to do just because of unknown reasons it's a sad. Debbie the morning waitress is the greatest she's very prompt and does care and I believe he's tired of making up excuses always. Her food's being played with also by Cooks I have learned

I'm sorry for making that comment but it's getting a little ridiculous that you can't get your breakfast the way you want it especially the hash browns the place is cute and I want to support it and I enjoy Kathy much but to not get your food the way you want it over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again get your little annoying I'm very sorry we won't be coming for a while
