“Located on Water Street in downtown Waterville, this brewpub is a popular restaurant/pub that specializes in thincrust pizza that is excellent. They also serve salads and dessert. The service is excellent and friendly. This is an open environment with larger tables for larger groups or more intimate tables for four scattered throughout. This is a nice spot for families or just adults.”
“This is the best Thai restaurant in Maine. The 2nd favorite of mine is Pinto Thai to Go. You don't need any other Thai food if you have these two. Thai with us uses high quality ingredients. I have never been served the 'fancy' little mushrooms anywhere else. Best crab rangoons in Maine. Tom Yum soup. Be careful when you get Drunken Noodles though. The chef makes them extra spicy so I stopped ordering them there. Everyrhing else is AMAZING. Curries and noodle dishes alike, poetry in motion.Vegetarian options: There are several, clearly labeled vegetarian dishes.”
“When in Maine a lobster roll is a MUST! Red Barn in Augusta has the friendliest service, massive portions, and a down home feel. I had a lobster roll with drawn butter and it was the best and meatiest lobster roll I've had in years. We also ordered a snack (lunch size) of fried clams, onion rings, and fried vegetables. The breading on everything didn't taste or feel super greasy, just a tender breading with light seasoning.”
“This place is very unique for where it is. Food is refined and definitely worth the trip. Drinks are strong and precise. The Maine crab stuffed haddock is a killer dish as are the fried croutons arugula salad with tomatoes and goat cheese . In such a small town this is truly exceptional putting it lightly.”
“I am not sure why it's taken me so long to write a review, but here it goes.Hands down our favorite restaurant in the Augusta area. The food is always amazing, fresh, and different compared to what's offered around the area. We loved their food and service so much, that we chose to have our wedding rehearsal dinner here. Eli (Chef) was very easy to work with, as I'm kind of a picky pants and he changed our menu around a few times. He had the restaurant decorated with flowers and candles. The place looked so inviting, but also casual (as this is our style). He accommodated our love for metal music with a great Playlist as well. The food was on point (as it always is!) And our guests were very impressed with the food. We still get compliments about our dinner and it was back in 2021. I honestly can't say enough great things about The Oak Table. Totally worth going if you haven't tried it and if you have tried it and haven't gone back, what's your deal?!Amazing food!Amazing service!Amazing experience!”
“Having a lousy day (work car is acting up and at nearby car shop). I walked over to Pinto and they were lovely. I showed right before their break (2:30-3) and they graciously let me stay and eat the most amazing cashew nut stir fry with chicken. Wow!! I’m definitely coming back. Thanks so much for the hospitality.”
“This is an adorable little place on the inside! Tucked away in a quiet area of Augusta so it feels like a cute and quiet place that’s perfect for date night! The food was delicious! We got a chicken pad Thai, an avocado unagi maki, spicy udon soup, and a taro boba tea. The only comment we had was that the udon noodles themselves were a little mushy. Other than that, the broth was delicious! Before this experience I was convinced I didn’t like tapioca bobas, only the popping ones but these bobas were soft and had a good bounce to them. We will absolutely be back again and loved all the food we picked up!”
“It's a great place to eat, and great service, but 1st timers should know that, as crazy as it sounds in 2024, they don't accept plastic. Cash only! They have an ATM on site, but it's quite inconvenient to have to do so and what of the machine doesn't work? Back in your car, to another ATM? Why bother! Well, their food is excellent so, you might want to bother.Parking: Most likely the closest spaces are taken, but there will be a few at the end 9f the lot. Good luck.”
“Great service, food, coffee and people.Pro Tip: if you are getting a mocha latte, ask for the syrup - it’s great. Without it, they use a powder, and the drink tastes like plain/chalky coffee.”
“We stopped in for lunch when we were in Augusta. Fun atmosphere, cozy, comfy. Super nice staff. The food was delicious. Pastrami sandwich with garden salad, shrimp tacos and mac n chz.”
“This is a compact golf course, with some interesting holes and features. Its close by and they have specials on golf. I love to go there in the late afternoon, and meet some friendly golfers, and have a nice walk in woods at twilight!”
“Great food. Never had anything that was not good. It can get a bit crowded when they are busy but there is no way to eliminate that. It is always worth the 20 minute drive to the other side of town.”
“Omg..where to start! We had quick service and since it was our first time there the waitress had some very good recommendations. Make sure you try their Sweet Tea Moonshine..you will not be disappointed!!”
“Food is fantastic, people are friendly. Benches aren't the most comfortable but definitely worth putting up with for the food. My favorite thing there is the blarney stones.Kid-friendliness: They have a small kids menu with the usual stuff on it, as well as kids cups with lids which I appreciate greatly.”
“Always have something..and owner/cook remembers for last 30 years...fries Always goo..get extra ketchup...I get hamburger with fried onions and ketchup....good folks own and run the place!!!”
