It's definitely in the technique, i.e., the girl who cooked it mixed the perfectly melted cheese in very uniformly w/the meat. It's a beautiful thing when people make food w/love! Bread roll was good...definitely will order it again...wonder if it's just that one girl has mad cheesesteak game on the flat top...lol.🤔”

He shared with us the story of how the restaurant began and other interesting background information. The food was delicious. “My husband and I visited State Lunch recently and our experience was incredible… literally a perfect night out for us. The atmosphere is great, the bar is gorgeous! We started off with drinks, tried several margaritas, all delicious! Everything we ordered for dinner was cooked to perfection, the food options were unique and all amazing! … the waitstaff was very friendly and the owner makes himself a familiar face.. he makes it a point to stop by to say hello and make sure you’re enjoying yourselves… can’t wait to get back there! “Once you step inside, you will be greeted by two incredibly warm and friendly brothers. Their menu offers a wide variety of options, but what delighted me the most was their authentic homemade Lebanese cuisine. The Grapeleaves are AMAZINING. They have the best homemade fries around. The cleanliness of the place is also worth mentioning, as I observed their meticulous attention to detail while they cleaned. I am eager to revisit this establishment and would wholeheartedly recommend it to others.”

“What a sweet place! The service is wonderful, so fine to be treated with love. As you can see from the photo, the sausage gravy is humongous! and tasty too. But wait... who has these prices any more? Over in Rockland we have to pay $18 if we want sausage gravy and here it's less than half that AND you get two eggs and choice of sausage or bacon with it. Wonderful find. Can't wait to go back and try their salisbury steak or turkey dinner that everyone was ordering. Thanks Dave! (but moreso the wonderful waitresses)”

“Absolutely delicious meal at the chef’s bar. Between us, my wife and I had the baby kale salad, cheese course, grilled oyster mushrooms, fried cauliflower, pierogies, mushroom fettuccine, and the brisket. Every dish was outstanding. Highly recommend going!”
