“This has become a favorite place for us. Kind of a dump inside and out but it is clean, service is top notch and fast and the food is INCREDIBLE. Haddock chowder is some of the best I have ever had. Daily specials. Everything we have ordered has been delicious, served promptly and with a smile. Reasonable prices. Large menu with many options for breakfast and lunch ans well as daily specials. Ample parking. Looks old and outdated inside but especially from the outside (old rundown drive in diner no longer in use though nostalgic). If you are looking for a quick, reasonably priced diner with great food and service, this is the place for you. Don't let the looks of the place stop you.”

“I use to come here weekly. It is so good! I always order the Blaine - which is a pre made sandwich on the menu. A few times ago one of the girls making the sandwich was talking about "how big and filling the sandwich is she could never eat it" well being a bigger women- trying to lose weight. I found that super offensive. I make my stops few in between now and with anxiety. I use to love this place!”

“ordered the Mexican flag...had to ask for it not on menu anymore..no big deal. when it came out I asked for beef. and it was nothing like it used to be. used to be shredded beef...now its hamburg...and everything had a NOT so good tommatoey paste/ taste to it...not what I remembered from years ago. wont be going back anytime soon. on the bright side the staff and service was good...foods gone down hill..”

“My husband and I visited State Lunch recently and our experience was incredible… literally a perfect night out for us. The atmosphere is great, the bar is gorgeous! We started off with drinks, tried several margaritas, all delicious! Everything we ordered for dinner was cooked to perfection, the food options were unique and all amazing! … the waitstaff was very friendly and the owner makes himself a familiar face.. he makes it a point to stop by to say hello and make sure you’re enjoying yourselves… can’t wait to get back there! “Morgan M Gave ua great service. We came in right at a 2:30 rush of christmas shoppers. Our pizza got sent to someone else (or they atleast got served long before us when they sat much after us) She was able to fix the whole situation and was very attentive ( as their oven shuts down from 3-4) we were worried we wouldnt get a pizza again in time.
