We’ve been to Bistro Milliard a few times, and we’ll keep coming back. Even though we live in Scarborough, it’s worth the 1:15 drive as a destination, even passing by the many fine Portland restaurants. Tim and crew just do a fantastic job with fresh food prep and interesting menu choices. We had short rib over pasta and halibut. Immediate smiles came to our faces after first bites. The food is always spectacular, the wine list is full of amazing options and the staff are extremely attentive. I love the quaint environment. Highly recommend checking out this hidden gem.

Charming and intimate experience with this chef owned unique bistro. Highly recommend the Tuna and Muscles. Wine was delightful and the waitress had a great attentive but not overbearing approach. Hidden in bustling Hallowell! Special occasion kind of experience.
