“Solid coffee shop. I had a dirty chai that was pretty good. I got mine for there and the drink wasn't really hot by the time I got it. If you have hot water on tap behind the bar maybe prefill the cups with hot water so the drink isn't going to lose half its heat just warming the cup when it gets poured in. I'll definitely be back though, the coffee was good and the space is cozy. Service was very friendly as well.”

“We’ve been to Bistro Milliard a few times, and we’ll keep coming back. Even though we live in Scarborough, it’s worth the 1:15 drive as a destination, even passing by the many fine Portland restaurants. Tim and crew just do a fantastic job with fresh food prep and interesting menu choices. We had short rib over pasta and halibut. Immediate smiles came to our faces after first bites. Charcuterie board was delicious. Can’t say enough good things about this intimate little spot on Main St in Hallowell.”

“Growing up, this was my parents date spot when we would visit my aunt who lived in hallowell at the time. It was a bit mythical in my mind from their tales of it when they came home and I can't believe that it lived up to the myth, 35 years later! Just that alone makes this experience wonderful. We each got specials, the crispy haddock (which was fish and chips without the fries) for me and the steak au poivre for my partner. Both of us would get it again. The best part of the meal was the peanut butter fudge swirl pie, which was the best dessert I've had at a restaurant in years. I was not expecting much but it was whipped really well and didn't feel heavy, which is a miracle with peanut butter. We were upstairs, they ask if you can do stairs when making reservations. It's definitely eclectic in the decor and it felt like there was something to admire anywhere you looked. There was a large party next to us that were a bit loud- it was so quiet once they left. It's not cheap but it's worth it and it's been around for decades but it's not stuffy at all.”

“Very nice place went there for a fundraiser for another local bar which I was very thankful to see the community get together for this I didn't rate food because I didn't have any I have to say the service was great great selection I did go during evening hours which was considered bar time only and that was the other reason I did not have anything to eatParking: The area has timed parking on the street but if you're going out as a late night date night it is until you leave a lot of streets have more parking along the area but very easy to usually find free parking there is no parking garage so you do need to find your own parking area”

“This restaurant was delicious. Each of the dishes we tried had excellent flavor, fair prices and good portion sizes. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area. I especially liked the fried chicken Pad Thai!”

“This was a great place to get juice while visiting Augusta. It is about 10 minute or less from the center of Augusta. The woman working was very friendly and made the best juices. I visited here 3 or 4 times and felt energized after drinking which indicates to me that the veggies were fresh. Hope to come there again ”

“The only thing I didn't like is the 5$ for 1 meatball. The taste the quality the atmosphere and cost of everything else including the kindness of the waitress was absolutely awesome!I will have to say the best wood fired pizza I've had in Maine hands down! The appetizers are delicious! And you can't forget dessert! The browny was sooo yummy!!!! Recommend to everyone???”

“We have been going here and getting takeout for 7 years, since we moved to Maine. It is absolutely the best Oriental food restaurant we have been to here! The people are so nice. The atmosphere is peaceful, right on the river, pathos growing and climbing all around the dining room. It just couldn't be better!Vegetarian options: We eat vegetarian almost half the year for religious observation of Easter and Christmas.”

“My family and I own a camp in Northern Maine and we travel by often on Friday nights and your bar and restaurant has become one of our favorite places to stop in while traveling, to get the best drinks, food and no matter how busy it is we always receive the best service from your bartender Sarena.”

“This morning I went to Bintliff’s corner for the first time. I highly recommend you go! The pastry display case is gorgeous. The pastries don’t only just look pretty they are delicious! The environment was welcoming and the friendly staff members have excellent customer service skills. I had their fruit danish. This danish was made with love… you can tell by the taste that the pastries are made from scratch and are fresh daily. With the fresh fruit, flaky layers, and delicious filling this pastry is hands-down, the best danish I have ever had. I plan to return soon to eat some of their many food selections for brunch.”

“The pizza here is HEAVENLY!! The Diner closes at 2pm pizza is one of the best I've had. Potatoes, bacon, cheese sauce, maple syrup, and a couple eggs on top are the base ingredients and wow do they work well together!!! Also highly recommend the Cony High Pie, the mill park pie and the crab Rangoon pizza. All 10/10! Staff have always been really attentive and pleasant. Really great atmosphere here, very relaxed but fun. The prices are good for the quality and amount of food you get. I will always jump at the chance to come here.”

“This is the best Thai restaurant in Maine. The 2nd favorite of mine is Pinto Thai to Go. You don't need any other Thai food if you have these two. Thai with us uses high quality ingredients. I have never been served the 'fancy' little mushrooms anywhere else. Best crab rangoons in Maine. Tom Yum soup. Be careful when you get Drunken Noodles though. The chef makes them extra spicy so I stopped ordering them there. Everyrhing else is AMAZING. Curries and noodle dishes alike, poetry in motion.Vegetarian options: There are several, clearly labeled vegetarian dishes.”

“This place is very unique for where it is. Food is refined and definitely worth the trip. Drinks are strong and precise. The Maine crab stuffed haddock is a killer dish as are the fried croutons arugula salad with tomatoes and goat cheese . In such a small town this is truly exceptional putting it lightly.”

“The food is just really good. Decor is very, very informal, but charming in its own way. The clam strips are just spectacular. Stay and eat them in the restaurant - they lose something crucial in transit. I like them with cocktail sauce, which you can get on request, but the tartar sauce is also very good. Lobster roll is great. Service is friendly - though always busy. Have been several times and will definitely go back.”

“Really enjoyed this meal! 4 courses, each thoughtful and delicious, at a good price point in central Maine. So why were we the only table on a Friday night? People, please patronize this restaurant! 3 states for atmosphere because it was 1. Empty 2. Too dark in front, too bright in back 3. Decor needs some work. But all of that is secondary to the food, which was good. I think they’re taking a hit for the lack of polish but don’t let that deter you. A rare bright spot in the overpriced, bland desert that is central Maine dining. I’ll be back, and I hope we’ll have some company next time!”

“Been eating Thai at Pinto since they opened. Best Thai in town!! Consistently excellent food, and the online ordering system is easy peasy, and there are ways to add custom instructions while ordering. Just has Pad See Ew with duck. SO good. Never disappointed!!”

“Went here for their ramenfest, it was amazing! Friendly and knowledgeable staff, FREE juice boxes for my little guys. We got the charcuterie board, pork belly ramen, goose and duck ramen that had these AMAZING candied snow fungus mushrooms and the beef pho!! Not a bad bite was had!! Highly recommend checking this place out, it's about 45min from us but the drive was nice and it's a gorgeous spot. Can't wait to go back and try out their regular menu.”

“My husband and myself have been visiting this location since they opened and usually celebrate the end of the week by ordering breakfast from Sunrise. Our food is always ready by the time we arrive to the store, is still hot, and delicious. The employees are always so kind and welcoming. 10/10 would recommend Sunrise Bagel to friends and family :)”

“I’ve been told that I needed to visit Mughal Palace so many times, so I know their food is amazing. What my boyfriend and I just experienced from their customer service, though, was incredible.On our way up to the Augusta area, we called ahead to order three dinners. Barely 10 minutes later our car starting giving us problems, forcing us off the highway. I called Mughal Palace to give them a heads up that we’d be late because I thought it might be a quick fix (they had already started the order so we didn’t want to cancel). When it became obvious that we weren’t going to make it, my boyfriend called to cancel the order. We felt SO bad ordering so much food that we weren’t going to pick up, but instead of expressing his frustration, the lovely man on the phone offered to deliver us the food- a 40 minute drive!! He was so sweet and understanding; we couldn’t believe it.Thank you so much! You made a hard night a little easier!!”
