“Food is very yummy, interaction with the cashier was great, but the staff in the open kitchen were complaining very loudly and rudely about orders and customers. I know thats how commercial kitchens are, but with the open concept of it their voices reverberate around the whole resturant.“

“There are so many reasons I love Sunrise. For starters, there’s the great food, but it’s so much more than that. This is a local business that seriously and genuinely invests in its community and THAT is why it will be here for a really long time. I’m convinced it will be a “generational business” that will be in the Central Maine business landscape for YEARS. The creative menu and excellent customer service are 2/3rds of the success - the community heart is the secret ingredient ❤️“

108 Water St, Hallowell - 1.77 miles

“I finally had a chance to check out this newer NY-style pizza spot in Hallowell, and it did not disappoint. The crust is exactly what you want—thin, crispy, and holds up beautifully under the toppings without getting soggy or being greasy. I ordered a veggie + sausage combo with marinara, green peppers, mushrooms, roasted red peppers, Kalamata olives, and their house-made sausage. Everything tasted fresh, and the veggies were sliced thin so they cooked perfectly without weighing the pizza down. The sausage in particular really stood out—clearly made in-house and full of flavor. They’ve also got a great drink selection, from cold brew coffee to some unique sodas and craft beers, which makes it easy to find something to pair with your slice. It’s a solid addition to Hallowell and definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.“
