Was very impressed with all aspects of this experience. The food was very tasty (we got a chicken basket) and very plentiful portion for only 13 dollars. Hard to get that much food anywhere for that price. More impressive was the attention to detail to cleanliness Of the grounds. The seating, condiment area, parking lot, right to the portapotties (not to be gross but it was legit the cleanest portapotty I’ve ever been in). Finally the owner, Laura, was all over the place, greeting customers, cleaning table, stocking the condiment area and cleaning the bathrooms. She even came over and thanked us for our patronage. In a world where small businesses are having a tougher and tougher go of it, it’s amazing to see a place as well run from top to bottom as The Red Barn. Highly recommend.
The service was fast, the prices are reasonable and the food was excellent! We'll definitely go again.?
Very expensive my second trip was better if they put amount chicken in the snack as a pint for 16$ then I could see regaining more business also the chicken should be cooked longer so it more crispy other that it still tasted good I will be asking them if they can Crisp up chicken slight bit more on my order when I stop by again for dinner
The food is fantastically delicious. Now, I know it's not the owner's fault but it seems she's getting pushed out of business. The place is never open now and the prices have gone crazy. Like roughly 75% over the past 5 years. Problem being my wages have gone up maybe 7%. I can't afford to be a regular patron anymore.Have you ever considered an Ice Cream Parlor Laura? They are all the rage right now with folks grasping at a bit of Americana in these uncertain times.
Good was great at always. Amazing staff ??
best ever and they delivereed
I called in to order today and ordered some chicken and fries and they graciously went over their menu options. We ended up going with their 2 pints of chicken deal and it was more than delicious and surely enough food for 4 people! The speed of the delivery was amazing as well they originally said about 45 minutes and it was at my door in under 30! We will definitely be ordering here more often!
Just had the poutine!!! Omg delish!!!!!
stopped in for lunch. it cost me $19.56 for a snack size chicken basket with onion rings and a sweet tea. the food tasted good.
The new gluten-free recipes are great. Thursdays only. Service was excellent as always.

I had the gluten-free chicken last Thursday and it was awesome! I also got a Whoopie pie, even though it was not gluten-free (don’t tell anyone…smile) and it was the best Whoopie pie I have ever had. Thank you so much for opening up the State Street location.
Great food a little more expensive than their other location but high quality service and friendliness.
I have been wanting to try the new chicken place on state street since the sign first went up months ago. finally got a chance. I guess it was gluten free day. I have never had a chance to try the original chicken. Sorry But to me the gluten free was just okay. Not really what i was hoping for. One basket for $18.31. There was no menu at the order window i would have ordered a smaller serving but all I had a chance to say was I didn't want a basket with fries. I almost brought it back and asked for my money back but decided not to since all businesses are struggling. The chicken was moist and the coating mostly crispy and It tasted ok just wasn't anything special. :-/
The best chicken and fries.
The absolute Best Lobster Roll I’ve ever eaten! Superb! The bread was perfect! I cannot express enough how amazing the lobster roll was!
