Stopped in to Sand Hill Bagel on our way back to Boston from Acadia, and it was delicious!!! We got the Arsenal and the Lithgow, and both were phenomenal. We also got iced coffee, which was great too. Highly recommend stopping in and checking out the cool building and great bagels!

I love the location! It’s so close to the waterfront you can easily scoop up a pastry and head down to one of the bench’s. Inside seating is also available but beware there aren’t many seats on the ground floor and the staircase is a full flight up. We got 2 bagel sandwiches and an iced coffee with brown butter syrup. I loved the coffee and would just ask for the bagel to be toasted well done next time.

I am currently devouring the Martha Ballard Celebratory bagel: anadama bagel with maple molasses cream cheese. It is DEEEEElicious.
They also have cool things on shelves: i.e.raspberry sugar from Lecker Spice in Knox, Maine. And in the fridge are snack packs of pickled green beans and pickled carrots and a variety of cool beverages.
The building is a former cotton mill! There are picnic tables outside and lots of seating upstairs. A little seating on the main floor.
Also got a brown butter espresso blondie. It was difficult to choose just one goodie.

Their bagels are very very good! And they also sell bags of “day old” bagels competitively priced, a good bargain! Give these guys a try. Shop local, support local. I really like how the interior looks. They did a nice job with the place. There’s indoor seating on the second floor.

So tasty. The bagels were delicious and coffee solid. Cute area to walk around your dog after. The place is super cute inside too.

Great spot to get your bagel. Cheddar bagel was so good. You can sit cool inside or outside if it's sunny.

Excellent bagels! Good variety and fantastic sandwiches (the Arsenal is perfection). There is outdoor seating which is pet friendly. Great spot to visit if passing thru Augusta, especially with a pooch in tow! You can visit the dog park located in the same park, then grab a bite.

I was excited to eat here until I learned that the staff does not understand the state of Maine laws for service animals. I was asked to leave because my actual registered service dog was not wearing his vest. It is not a requirement. I love when uneducated, dog-hating, members of the service industry try to tell me what the laws are about service animals when I've been a restaurant manager for almost ten years.
I really love Sandhill bagel. I’ve never had a baked good of any kind from there that’s wasn’t satisfying. Their bagel sandwiches are delightful (the Blaine on salted Za’atar is my go to), the staff are friendly and service is quick. I’m eating a still warm carrot cake scone from SHB while I write this and it’s delicious. I regularly think about their honey cornmeal cookies. The location by the river is impeccable.
