I ordered what was supposed to be a Zaatar bagel, and I was really disappointed. Honestly, it didn’t taste like zaatar at all it was missing the salt, sumac, and sesame seeds. The only thing I could really taste was thyme.

I’ve been eating zaatar my whole life, and I totally get that the owners aren’t Middle Eastern. But if you’re going to call it zaatar, it might be worth reaching out to someone who knows the traditional mix so it actually tastes right. This just didn’t give that tangy, nutty flavor I was hoping for.

I had high expectations based on the reviews, but I was extremely disappointed when I got home 2hrs away and the Bagels I got where so stiff! I even tried microwaving them to soften the bagels and it did nothing. I will definitely not be shopping here again as it makes me wonder if the beagels are truly freshly made. Waste of 27 dollars.

Not taking Shit no more

This place is above and beyond for flavor and selection.

Get there early as they do sell out most days.

Fresh made daily.

If you like bagels n cream cheese, they have a large variety that I am sure changes regularly, plus the old stand-by,
Plain.
Have a bagel and take in the view of the river or take a walk lots of open space inside and out.
Historic building has a charm to it that it has never had it has a love of food pouring out in all directions.
Go check them out it's worth the trip....
In my opinion, it is.

Great revitalization of part of a former mill building. Tasty bagels and treats with reasonable pricing for the area and what you’re eating! Friendly staff, cute little upstairs nook to do work or socialize with friends.

Not bad a bit pricey for a bagel and cream cheese though.

Stopped in to Sand Hill Bagel on our way back to Boston from Acadia, and it was delicious!!! We got the Arsenal and the Lithgow, and both were phenomenal. We also got iced coffee, which was great too. Highly recommend stopping in and checking out the cool building and great bagels!

I love the location! It’s so close to the waterfront you can easily scoop up a pastry and head down to one of the bench’s. Inside seating is also available but beware there aren’t many seats on the ground floor and the staircase is a full flight up. We got 2 bagel sandwiches and an iced coffee with brown butter syrup. I loved the coffee and would just ask for the bagel to be toasted well done next time.

I am currently devouring the Martha Ballard Celebratory bagel: anadama bagel with maple molasses cream cheese. It is DEEEEElicious.

They also have cool things on shelves: i.e.raspberry sugar from Lecker Spice in Knox, Maine. And in the fridge are snack packs of pickled green beans and pickled carrots and a variety of cool beverages.

The building is a former cotton mill! There are picnic tables outside and lots of seating upstairs. A little seating on the main floor.

Also got a brown butter espresso blondie. It was difficult to choose just one goodie.

Their bagels are very very good! And they also sell bags of “day old” bagels competitively priced, a good bargain! Give these guys a try. Shop local, support local. I really like how the interior looks. They did a nice job with the place. There’s indoor seating on the second floor.
