Bread was dry and not much given for the price. Food was good but I went home and put my own meat & cheese because they only put a little on my sandwich and I could only taste bread.

It was the worst subway I’ve ever been to bc they didn’t make all 3 sandwiches like there supposed to and missed most of the toppings i put on my sandwich’s

Last time I go here. I have yet to have an accurately made sandwich to what my online order says. I asked for extra of every item, and I got 4 pickles, 4 banana peppers, a pinch of lettuce, 8 black olives.. on a large.. place has all new staff every time u walk in there. Need to just shut down at this point

When I came in and got to the counter the employee turned and seemed disappointed that I was at the counter. Name tag said QT I had to repeat myself multiple times to the point I felt I was yelling. Overloaded my sandwich with cheese enough to choke on. When I explained how I wanted my sandwich made seemed to annoy him.

Just witnessed the manager (I’m assuming) completely belittle one of his workers for putting too much turkey on a sandwich in FRONT of the customer and myself. There is a time and a place to coach and it is not while you are in front of customers. Do better. You’re going to lose employees.

On August 5, 2025, my husband and I visited the Subway Sandwich Shop at 225 Western Avenue in Augusta, ME. We asked the employee before he made our sandwiches if they accepted the coupons that we receive frequently in the mail. When he responded affirmatively, we each ordered a customized foot-long sub.
We currently have three full-page Subway coupons delivered by the USPS, each page providing 13 individual coupons. The coupons on the first-received-set bore an expiration date of August 9, 2025 (and we had used one of the offers earlier), the second set is due to expire on August 12, 2025, and the most recent set received on August 6 will expire on September 11, 2025.
When we submitted a ‘Get TWO footlongs for $13.99’ coupon with an expiration date of August 12, the employee stated that the coupon he held in his hand had been used previously. It was the only coupon removed from the page which we had left at home. With several customers awaiting service (some with suspicion on their faces), we paid the full-price total of $26.22 to avoid further delay to the other customers and save further personal embarrassment.
Some time ago, we had attempted to redeem a coupon at the same franchise location and after the sandwiches were prepared, we were told by a different employee, that ‘her boss never told her how to redeem the coupons’. Again, we paid full price.
The employees that we have encountered are pleasant and make a great sandwich and I have no complaints regarding their service. After receiving the most recent coupons earlier this week, I called the manager who said that the owner would have to be the one to hear the complaint but that he was not comfortable giving me their name or contact information. He did state that he would relay our name, telephone number, and nature of our call so that the owner could contact us. Crickets….
We have visited this location only a few times, but have had negative experiences if and when we have attempted to use the coupons. Management does not appear to be empowered and the owner is not available to explain how similar promotional coupons with different expiration dates can be recorded by their system as previously redeemed.
Subway’s ‘Contact Us’ customer feedback system is pretty much useless.

First of all whatever that chicken sandwich was, it was delicious! I believe they said it was a barbecue chicken subway sandwich! It came with cookies and unfortunately, I didn’t get my cookies. I forgot to take them! Boo because I’m a big fan of your chocolate chip cookies. Anyway, there was two guys working I was in there with my grandchildren and it was a very light atmosphere. We sat down and air our sandwiches, which we don’t usually do we usually take things to go. But we enjoy being there being able to refill our sodas, which is another thing we don’t usually do. We definitely will go back again and order the same stuff maybe I’ll get double cookies. LOL

So I don’t know her name however if someone is reading this now ( 7/25/25 ) 6:41 pm the girl with the pink hands ( she dyed someone’s hair ) Is THE Sandwich Artist. She should be the example. Super awesome attitude! The speed was there, the presentation, PERFECT amounts per request is just impeccable. GIVE THIS GIRL A RAISE! Promote her for sure! If she has any ideas or requests to make the store or processes better, listen to her, give them to her! I have been collecting the HG cups so I’ve recently had a lot of face time with sand witch artists and she’s worth the review! By far my best experience and satisfaction I’ve had with a subway employee ever. I mean not a piece of anything fell off when I opened it up and not a thing has fallen out while eating, it’s absolutely perfection

I was in a hurry and the second worker noticed me and helped me quickly and allowed me to leapfrog a family to pay. Gave him a fist bump and thanked him for hurrying for me, and I was on my way. Great customer service!

Not sure who made my sandwich today 7/6/2025 around 3:25pm. I ordered delivery from the Subway app. The bread is so fresh, and the sandwich was made to perfectly! Whoever it was deserves recognition and a raise. The order was under Alynn k. It says order #47D315A0-22. ....I was the order that had the smashed avacado and cup of mayonnaise on the side. Thank you so much. I was having a tough day. And this made the afternoon so much better! You rock!!!!

They never make sandwiches correctly. Today they made both sandwiches untoasted. Why have the option for toasted if your not going to read what people order?
Do not go to this Subway. Go to the Bangor St. subway. Besides the huge holes & dips in the parking lot - This Subway leaves staff alone in the store, untrained on everything they need to know to be left alone. They are always out of most veggie ingredients and a majority of the time they are out of a good number of meats. Almost all the time staff are rude to customers.
