“We were there for the American legion conference during the storm and they had very little help in the bar and restaurant so the hotel pulled a young man from the front desk to help out and he ROCKS!!! “Love that they have an all Day Breakfast, and they’re good, too. I had the Farmers Breakfast in a bowl (scrambled eggs with peppers, potatos, sausage, cheese etc.) which was very good and filling. Nice fresh fruit available, too. Excellent service in their extension cafe just past security. The young man employee was friendly and pleasant with customers, was ordering replenishments, and sanitizing tables....didn’t get his name but he’s to be commended (he was working at 1:00 pm on Friday, 26 July).“

“Awesome food and a great view of the Penobscot Valley Country Club golf course. Went to a fun event for the Kentucky Derby this year and they had drink specials and a special menu including an incredible "burgoo" soup that I've never had before.“

“Great tasting gyros. We tried both chicken and lamb gyros and they were great. The salad with Greek dressing was so fresh and delectable. Don't forget the baklavas warm with sweet honey and nuts. Highly recommended.“
