Former Black Bear Brewery site. Was visiting ME for the 1st time from IA between 4/5/24 - 4/7/24. Was brewery hopping all 9 breweries within Bangor, Brewer & Orono. Had looked at the area for the last couple years to know this location had closed few months ago.

Good food and atmosphere
Great beer and chill atmosphere.
Awesome
good drinks
Stumbled upon this place and so glad we did! Quiet little brewery that serves amazing inhouse made food. The beer is cold and wonderful! They have beer, water, Maine Root soda and even an option for those who want beer but can't have it! The guest feature for non-alcoholic beer was like 0.5% and it was far from boring!!The business itself is cool and cozy. The bar tender is very accommodating and knowledgeable. Go check them out!
Vegetarian options: Nacho's, house made chips, pretzel and more.
Parking: There are a few spots that line the street. 90 mins during the week, free on the weekends.

Sort of a sad copy of the Orono location but still good beer and great staff.
Nice place to listen to local performers during open mic.
One of my go to spots in Bangor. Often times when other places are crowded, Black Bear has plenty of open seats. I'm not sure why, because the food and drinks are excellent. I think they might be just outside that downtown area that they don't get all the crowds. The pulled pork nachos are great, and all of the food is affordably priced. The beer is also very good, and they have flights for those wanting to try several drafts. Staff is always friendly, and the restaurant is very clean. A must visit on your beer tour of the greater Bangor area!

Loved eating, drinking and playing at open mic there! We’ll be back often.
Most upset about the fact that I can't get my deposit back for my growlers. It's a deposit, so not cool for keeping it!! Also way too hot inside, they should invest in some fans. The beer is good though with good variety, and it's a nice venue when it's not so warm.
Very good beer, friendly, great service. Small, good outdoor patio that is dog friendly.
Fun small town bar with some amazing food
Great beer here.
