“We visited the lodge while on an RV trip through Maine. As noted in other reviews, what a warm and welcoming lodge. The activity in this lodge reminded me of the old days in the lodge in which I grew up. The parking lot was full, there were tables of people everywhere, and everyone was having a good time. We sat at the bar, had a few drinks and met some very interesting people, some local, and some from other lodges and states. If you're an Elk and in the area looking for a place to plant your fundament for a few hours, by all means stop by lodge #244.“

“10/10 food & service!Joe and his staff catered my 2020 wedding and made us the most delicious crabmeat-stuffed haddock, steak tips, garden salad, fresh rolls, roasted potatoes and seriously THE BEST mac n cheese that I have EVER tasted.Additionally, his staff were fully prepared for our COVID-19 restrictions in place. They wore masks, gloves, and face shields. They had a seamless no-touch buffet plan with plexiglass (framed with rustic wood pieces that looked so cute!) It was truly so refreshing to see how smoothly something can go in the midst of this crazy year.And to top it all off, Joe personally delivered the food leftovers to my house the day after my wedding. It was the most delicious hangover meal I have ever tasted! Thanks so much Joe & staff!!!“
