I usually get a dozen oysters there, regularly.Seafood is fresh and reasonably priced ; as compared to other places in the area.The staff has always greeted me with a smile; and are willing to always try to accommodate my needs. Small place, friendly staff, reasonable prices, great products, generally, ample parking.

Great fresh lobster. Guy was very informative regarding the softness of the shelves right now and what the select lobsters were versus the soft shells. It’s the time of year for molting and so they are different than at the time of year when they have hard shells not bad just different my two were delicious ….highly recommend.
The lobster there is a no doubt 5-star quality. However, the lady who served us was pretty mean and made me feel very uncomfortable. She bypassed us to serve people lining behind us first. When she finally turned to us, you can tell from her face and action how reluctant she was. I don’t know why but this is definitely not a qualified server should do

They steam the lobster for you! I called a few minutes after the cut off time but could get there before they closed and the young lady still steamed em. I was really appreciative of that. They have really good fish chowdah and they have dry fish. Sometimes when you are home for a short visit you can't get DownEast for dry fish and you might not always find it.

Great service, quality lobsters and scallops. Maybe add steaks to your offerings. I'm not a seafood eater but my family is. As a foodie I think you could make some more money if you offered a few cuts of beef to your menu. Ribeyes some strip steaks, tips maybe, even some filets, just throwing it out there.

We stayed in Bangor for our trip to Acadia and their seafood kept me coming back 3 days in a row. The lobsters were so fresh and staffs were friendly. I even bought some for our way home as gift. Highly recommend!
