We had a rehearsal dinner catered by Moe’s a little over a week ago on Saturday night of Memorial Day Weekend. The event was in Bar Harbor. The food was excellent and plentiful. We had ribs, mac and cheese, cornbread, chicken, cold slaw , dessert and more. The two servers were the BEST. Mackie and Cody were great! Extremely personable and friendly to everyone. I would order from Moe’s again wthout a doubt.

Based on the reviews, Moe's Original BBQ is the best BBQ in Bangor and the best BBQ establishment in the state. The food is totally amazing and to die for. The brisket plate with cornbread and brisket sandwich are excellent. The green salad with pulled pork is delicious and huge, with tons of fresh veggies. The pulled pork baked potato is missed. The daily menu is great, and the specials are worth following. The service is awesome, with staff that is great, friendly, and quick to apologize. One customer had a simple error with a brown leaf of lettuce, and the staff remade the salad with a brand new batch of lettuce and refunded the cost. The service and level of care was special. The atmosphere is perfect for BBQ. Catering is also great, with excellent serving sizes for the pans, good plates, paper towels, and all at a reasonable cost. Customers will definitely cater again and stop by next time in the neighborhood.
