The food was very surprising. I have gluten and dairy allergy and our waitress was fantastic!!! She know her stuff and there were a ton of options. Then when the food came there was so much food I actually brought some home. I don't remember the last time I brought leftovers home. Highly recommend. Only thing was our kids nacho was large but plain. Would have expected more of a cheese sauce. It was mostly chips.

Have dined at plenty of Mexican restaurants in maine and this one was by far the bottom of the barrel. If anyone has eaten at any other Mexican restaurants there is no way they would go back to Miguel's. First off, the street corn,,, boiled can of corn from Walmart. Please Miguel's look up the proper way to make that. Go to Mexico more than once every two months. Next what is up with your spotty spices? Again, no consistency. I could go on but now I'm eaten at better establishment.

We were visiting Bangor for spring break and looked for a Mexican restaurant for our last night there - the decor was cute and atmosphere was great but the food was so over salted it was difficult to eat and left a bad taste in your mouth. We did not complain, we just ate our food and went back to the hotel to pack up leave. We were highly disappointed but were not planning to leave a review - just call it bad day and move on - however this morning I saw they took it upon themselves to change the tip amount to give them an extra $10 tip for bad food. So not only did we have a horrible last meal now we paid an extra $10 tip for extremely over salted mediocre mexican food.

Please stop wasting your time going to any other Mexican cuisine place in Bangor. This is THE spot to go. Great specials, friendly staff, moderately priced menu! Food is plentiful and exceptionally good ? plus the margs are delightful! Salsa and chips with the table is ACTUALLY salsa and so dang good. Can't wait to go back!!

Very disappointed in Miguel's to the point that I will not go back. Ordered the Cali burrito and it was full of potatoes that tasted like they were leftovers from the day before. I have never had a burrito with potatoes in it at any Mexican restaurant! My meal was also cold and when I asked the waitresses if it was supposed to be served that way she didn't know. The manager did come to the table and said yes it was supposed to be cold because there was quacamole in it, and they only heated the chicken. What about the rice? It was cold! He did take $10.00 off the check after my friend complained her meal had potatoes as well and she asked not to have them. Obviously the waitress ignored her request or the cooks don't read the tickets.
