Nice little spot for takeout or outdoor dining. It's real food and the prices are in line with chain fast food places. Burgers, steak bombs, and hand cut fries are the way to go. I would recommend giving this place a try.

As a carpenter, I've eaten plenty of diner and road food. This isn't that. I got a chicken Philly and it was fantastic. This place is now a landmark for me if ever in Bangor. If you're heading down 95 make sure to stop.

The haddock sandwich was meh. We also got hotdogs, which were very good. Good service.

Visiting from Tennessee and found this gem. Wow we loved it. We had bacon cheese burger, spicy burger and the kickin sub some fries and onion rings all of which were well worth it although if we go back I think the kickin sub will be my choice. Folks were friendly and genuinely cared about our satisfaction. I'm full.

If I could I’d give them 100 stars. 10/10 recommend. They are personable, funny, caring, and amazing at what they do. Which is their food, the food here is amazing more than amazing. I have been over 3 times and actually went two days in a row because the garlic lovers burger is my true love. I don’t know how they do it but their food is heaven in your mouth. The owner runs and works there which you don’t really see anymore, so I love that. The owner is so nice and will personally bring you out your order. If you haven’t been please do, one you are supporting a local business and two you won’t regret it.
Put down that McDonald’s burger and go get you a garlic lovers burger from here.

We always get off the highway and stop at Shakes & Bakes when traveling down or up rt. 95. They have the best chocolate shakes and authentic burgers anywhere you can find. Unfortunately, I can't say anything else about the food other than what I've eaten. But, what I've had there is absolutely the best. Highly recommend!

Had the steak bomb. It was a GREAT sandwich. It was overflowing with meat. I had to use a fork!
This place will do well in that area. Needs an option for chilly summer nights and winter dining.
They were so kind to let my 5 yo in the back to use the bathroom. Thank you! We will be back.
