She did such a great job on our ceremonial cutting cake! We were able to coordinate everything over the phone and pick up our single tier cutting cake with flowers the day before our wedding! The flavor was great as well as the aesthetic.

This was my first experience with Sugar Ray Baking co, But not my first wedding. I loved the way this wedding cake looked. The guests loved how it tasted. I am always a big fan of cakes that photography well. you can the skill that went into the design and trimmings. How the flowers contrasted the color of the cake. It was to die for. I 100 % recommend them for your wedding cakes or any other cake for that matter.

Best birthday cake we have had in a LONG time. I got a cake from Sugar Ray Baking Co. for my daughters 5th birthday and everyone at the party raved about it. Even the kids ate the entire piece of cake and not just the frosting ☺️ (which was DELICIOUS) too! I can’t recommend this bakery enough! Great service and delicious cake!

I was extremely last minute in ordering a cake for my daughters birthday after our cake maker of 8 years moved away. On a Hail Marry, I messaged and asked about getting a cake made. The lady that responded was so pleasant and helpful and said we will make it happen. Not only was the cake better than I expected, it was one of the best tasting cakes I had ever had. I will 100% be ordering here from now on and have already made several recommendations. Thanks for saving my daughters party and making a stressed out mom feel some relief. Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful custom wedding cake! We asked for a unique flavor (coffee flavored cake with Sweet Cream creamer frosting) and it was hands-down the best cake I have ever tasted. Thank you for your amazing work and making our wedding cake absolutely perfect! ❤️

So like I know I came at an off time because bakeries typically have hot spots. However I got a cookie, brownie, and two cupcakes. Like I’m not upset about them having sat for a bit because that’s the expectation of a bakery. I am upset that they’re just not that good to begin with. The cookie was slightly burnt and more cakey than I prefer but that part is just preference. Brownie tasted like store bought which confused me. Wasn’t bad but just didn’t feel worth the price tag. The strawberry swirl cupcake had the jam sunk to the bottom and browning because they didn’t squirt any lemon juice on it to keep the color and it overall wasn’t tasty. Blueberry cupcake had them all sunk to the bottom instead of flouring so they don’t sink. I understand needing to make things a certain price given it’s a small business with not much overhead and knowing raw materials aren’t cheap and you need to turn over some of a profit but if the food itself doesn’t taste any better than store bought then what’s the point? None of the food was bad but none of the food was worth spending 20$ plus tip.

Fantastic stop in for a carrot cake cupcake while walking around the city. The best cupcake I’ve had in a long time! So moist and airy, incredibly flavorful! Can’t wait to go back and try more. Come hungry!
Fantastic bakery. Ate here while traveling in Bangor and was blown away by how delicious the baked goods are. I’m a bit of a snob when it comes to cupcakes and the vanilla cupcake with vanilla icing was superb! The large chocolate chip cookies were a hit with me and my boyfriend as well and I stopped in twice while we were in town to get my fix lol. Prices were very good. The shop does sell out pretty quickly from what I saw so I recommend arriving early in the day to get the best selection.
