An awesome restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, and delicious food. We've gone twice now, once in the afternoon when they were dead, and once later in the evening when they were SLAMMED, and the service was phenomenal both times.

I will not recommend. Placed a takeout order awhile ago today. When my husband arrived they stated they had no order? We called and the lady who answered said we had no order and was rude. We spoke to manager who said she would check into it and call back. The manager found the person who took the order and forgot to put it through? This to me is unacceptable and if you are that busy you should state that you are not doing takeout orders.

Took my family here to eat in one of the igloos. It took 1 hour from when we ordered food to when we received it, and all of the food, except the haddock sandwich, was cold. I suspect the other food was done before the sandwich and they waited for it… the food was okay, aside from being cold, but not at all what I expected from a higher end restaurant. The waitress was great and very pleasant.

I will never go there agin didn't even get to the food. said to call 15 min ahead said they had a table when arrived they Said w/smirks on there faces we took too long only took us 10min NO food is worth playing this table roulette!!!!

The kitchen seems to be closed by the waitstaff about 20 minutes earlier than advertised. The staff seemed annoyed we were there AT 8:40PM on a Sunday at a hotel bar across the street from a casino and near the airport.

We've been to Timber a few times and have mostly had a good experience. However, while staying at the hotel attached, we ordered take out and I ordered a reuben. When we got it, my reuben was really soggy and the corned beef tasted overcooked. When we called, they just offered a new piece of bread. I don't want to have to make my own sandwich after spending $20 on it. I couldnt even eat it. It was really disappointing and I doubt we will be back.
Edit to add: Also check out the owners responses on a lot of reviews. Insanely unprofessional and it confirms we will never spend more money there.

I loved everything about this place! The decorating as lovely, the food was delicious, and the wait staff was very friendly and efficient. The burning fire was an excellent touch! I would highly recommend this place and would go back if I were to find myself in Bangor again.

Came in on a busy night and got a table with great service almost immediately. Fall drink menu was amazing, so many delicious options. The food was also incredible, best seafood chowder I’ve ever had & yummy warm homemade bread to dip in. Brussels sprouts also 10/10. Great experience overall !

Timber Kitchen & Bar has it all! Their customer service was exceptional, from the host to the sever. The Rustic Stew of Coastal Seafood was amazing!!! The seafood was fresh and perfectly cooked, and came in a spicy tomato sauce. The Forest Mushroom pizza was also delicious. To add, our food arrived quickly.
