My husband and I stopped in for lunch after browsing through Bar Harbor, we had recommendations from friends to stop in here. I ordered a Downeast Cider and it tasted like apple juice, no bubbly or cider taste at all...hmm.... next, we ordered a burger and the mac and cheese. The mac and cheese had no flavor in it, the only thing helping the mac and cheese save its case was the buffalo chicken added into it. Next, like I said, we got the burger, and had to pay an upcharge of $5 dollars for fries instead of chips. I lowkey think thats insane. Maybe $2.50. I dont think we will be back, nor will I recommend this place.

AVOID. Went here close to off season - waitress clearly didn’t know what she was doing, could barely measure anything out and kept throwing drinks down the sink in error. I asked for some recommendations on the beer and what she gave me was undeniable. Supposedly 25% off beer & food that night and 2x pints still came in at $22. There’s much better in the town, don’t stop here.

We were sat outside by a hostess who was on a personal call on her phone the whole time. We waited patiently for 10 min and no one came out to check on us or to take our order. This was the middle of the afternoon and they weren't busy. After waiting and not getting any service we left. Clearly based on other reviews this place has service issues. Maybe they can start with an attentive hostess.

Recently visited Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. During our stay we ate here several times. Every one of our meals was delicious. Fish and chips was the highlight. First time having haddock fish and chips. Really well executed on crispy exterior and moist flakey flesh. The service was good. Met some really nice wait staff here and enjoyed the conversations.

Was a bit concerned based on recent review, but our server sat us at a table and was very attentive. Brought water right away and theen took our drink order, which he also delivered right away. We started with the big pretzel and cheese which came out hot and hit the spot after a day of hiking. Then we split a cheese burger. Which was hot and good. It's a beer joint so not a wow, but still a good burger. Our server was Stoyan and he was excellent.

Lobster grilled cheese is worth the wait, wait staff is working hard to get meals out in a timely manner. If you just need a burger try somewhere else it is merely mediocre. Beer is good. Great spot to people watch, location is great but that's what makes it so busy.
I ordered the plant-based patty. The waiter clearly didn’t know what vegan was as the brioche bun (usually not vegan) was definitely covered in butter. I only ate the patty.

Ive never had a hostess “greet” my party without actually looking at us. Literally was turned 90 degrees from us and just asked food or drinks, we said drinks are were basically just pointed upstairs without another word.
John the bartender was entertaining and made some strong drinks so this place is getting two stars but otherwise pretty rough experience. Drinks were a little pricey as well.
