Initially, I would like to express my thanks and admiration for Daniel, our service provider, who concluded our day with outstanding service and personality, especially considering that we were served 15 minutes before closing. We felt as though we were the most important customers in the restaurant, as we were the last to leave, well after the other patrons had departed. It seemed as though we received personalized attention from a young lady as well, whose greetings did not feel insincere. I would also like to acknowledge the culinary expertise of the chef, Josh. In addition, it was clear who the manager of this establishment was, as it appeared that all staff members shared leadership responsibilities. — with Marissa Saycon Peacock.

We really enjoyed the lobster at this restaurant and the view of the fog coming in. Our waiter Daniel was top notch and took care of us. The drinks were strong enough and the meal was affordable. I loved the classic rock tunes in the background. I never saw floors so shiny. Great place to serve a group too.

The staff were incredibly friendly. The service was good and fast. I had the lobster roll, Mac and cheese, mussels and blueberry pie. They were all amazing.

Best lobster I have ever had. Cooked perfectly!!! Mussels, corn, bread and pie was out of this world. What made it ever better was the service. Jessica and all the staff were so professional and took such great care of us. Best lobster ever

Ali was our server and she was fabulous and very personable. She gave us the history of the restaurant.

The lobstah roll and lobstah dinners were great. Our sons and one of their girlfriend's do not eat seafood so they got the pork nachos, a santafe black bean burger, and a grilled chicken sandwich. All were very good and cooked perfect.

All of the staff were great and friendly.

The blueberry beer served with blueberries was good, in addition to the chowder, lobster bake, and blueberry cake. The corn and potatoes were perfectly cooked. The lobster had barnacles on it and it was tough and chewy. Definitely needed to dip it in the butter. It was challenging to crack, since there were no slits made ahead of time to claws and/or tail. The staff were willing to help crack open the lobsters and wore gloves when assisting. The bathroom was hot and only the hot water worked but it’s scalding hot. Some of the fans were working but it felt very warm in the restaurant.

I had the best time here. The trainee at the front do was doing very well. Shana, gave great menu recommendations and anticipated my needs. I didn't have to ask before she was already bring it to my table. She accommodated me moving inside because I got cold. Please, tell her she was right with her beer recommendation. It paired perfect with the lobster melt! Can't wait to come back!

Best experience we've had in a long time. Daniel was our waiter, he was amazing and treated us like family. Very good guy and sense of humor. The food was the best we have had yet here in Maine. If you want a place to eat and have a good time, come here.

Daniel made our experience out of this world. He was so pleasant and fun. The lobster was perfectly cooked. If I lived locally, I would spend way too much time eating here.

Delicious Maine food, with a very casual atmosphere that was ideal for having just spent all day outside hiking. We went here while camping at Acadia. It was really perfect because we wanted local food (lobster, clams and blueberries) and found it here. The service was quick, and the food was excellent. I would definitely recommend the blueberry cake!

Good food. Friendly and efficient service. Reasonably priced. Excellent view of the harbor. I don’t recall ever eating in a restaurant cleaner than this one. Even the kitchen was spotless. Not a fancy atmosphere but cozy and comfortable. Our server, Ally, was exceptionally efficient, friendly and informative. I don’t see how you could go wrong with this place . In a world of lobster and seafood restaurants, you can choose Bar Harbor Lobster Bakes with no worry about having anything other than a pleasant and worthwhile experience.

These people really know what the heck they’re doing… I got a lobster roll and my wife got a lobster melt. We shared. The lobster melt edges out the lobster roll, however, it was very close. Both sandwiches were overflowing with fresh delicious lobster and they were carefully prepared. The coleslaw was fantastic and the vinegar chips were just perfect. We also got the corn salad with the lobster add, which we had later with dinner. It was loaded with lobster and the corn seemed like it had been cut off the cob that day. Also, it had the perfect amount of red onion and shredded carrots, plus those adorable little teardrop shaped red peppers. I highly recommend Bar Harbor Lobster Bakes. We will be returning tomorrow!
