My son and I split the (full) lobster boil for 2. The description said 2 full Maine lobsters. I counted 4 claws, 2 bodies, and 2 half-tails (equaling 1 total tail). I pointed this out to the server and he got us the other full tail right away. Was it a simple mistake? Or were they trying to skimp? It's hard to say, but I suspect they were skimping and hoped we didn't understand or didn't notice. When they brought us out the extra tail, they also brought the sausage...
When in Maine 🦞 is a must. We were in the area for a bday trip and they of course wanted lobster. We came on a Friday afternoon when the weather was nice in the AM and turned into light to heavy rain in the PM. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We started outside because we had our pups with us but when it started to rain harder they were nice enough to move us inside (we also had our pups in a stroller). We ordered the fish & chips, garlic mussels, steamed...
Got the warm lobster roll and chips. Average quality but above average prices. Also got the lobster bisque……meh! Staff is nice but I would try somewhere else before going here. Also, heads up, you need to order and pay first then go sit down and wait for your food. I would think this method would hurt servers tips.
