We had the best waiter and the fattest mussels, not the other way around, which would have been fine too. The burger was so good, so I ate it all. And we had a nice bottle of white wine to wash it down while I read Hemingway.

New Year’s Day Dinner 2026. The service was great. The food was exceptional. We had a Caesar salad, lobster bisque, lobster poutine, and wild mushroom pizza. Wish we lived nearby to come again soon. We have been traveling the coast for a week now and this was the best meal so far. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

It's my #1 restaurant for Bar Harbor all around. Unless I need a specific food type, this is it. Best Burger. Best drinks. Best Pizza. Just go here when you want to eat out. I got frisky the other week and ordered the steak frites. I dont usually get market priced stuff. Cooked perfect and tasted fantastic. There is no question about the quality of food here.
Lazar was the perfect host! Knowledgeable about the menu, made great suggestions, and was attentive without hovering. We definitely look forward to our next visit!

Our original dinner plans fell through when the place we’d planned to go was closed for the off-season — and honestly, we’re so glad they were! We ended up here instead, and it was such a great surprise. Definitely not your average pizza joint. We tried two different pizzas (both amazing!) and a beer flight with plenty of sours, which we loved. The staff was super friendly — even though it was really busy and they seemed a bit overwhelmed, service was still fast and efficient. We’ll 100% be back!

Granted we were there at the end of the season, ordered a burger medium and it was rare and not warm. Couldnt eat it. Also had fish and chips. Fish was ok, the batter had an interesting flavor, maybe cumin?? The fries were a hit, tasted great. Also had broccolini, it was cooked well and had a good flavor.

Finn was doing the dang WORK the night we came! He was taking care of everyone all by himself and I appreciated that about him!
Once the bar cleared out, he got along with us and we chatted for a long time about our lives and traveling!
The food was wonderful! I got the Wagyu burger and my fiancé got the steak frites, and both were AMAZING! The lobster bisque was to die for!
Overall, we had an amazing experience here and I cannot wait to come back for another visit!
