Nice large restaurant with comfortable seating and a nice large bar. Good menu options with something for everyone. Ordered a mushroom tart, a house salad , and a burger. Everything was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. Fast and friendly service. Loved it.
My wife and I spent our elopement dinner here after requiring a last minute pivot from our original wedding plans. Caroline and her team accommodated us on short notice with kindness and enthusiasm. We dined with our photographer and were graciously allowed to shoot within their new wine cellar as well. The food was fantastic (escargot in puff pastry was quite novel!) and the atmosphere, cozy. It was the perfect end to our perfect day and for them, we are grateful.
I think this is one of the best meals I’ve eaten all year. I travel quite a bit and at this point, I can’t say most of the meals I eat out, Michelin or otherwise, make any sort of impression on me (I know this is obnoxious - just bear with me) besides a feeling at the end of the meal that it was too much X or not enough Y to have been worth the money, travel, and time that goes into eating at “destination” restaurants.
