Brrrr! Harbor Shaved Ice & Iced Coffee

We have been coming to Bar Harbor for years and this is by far our favorite spot for an after-hike treat. Caleb is incredibly nice and welcoming (and patient with very excited children). There are a ton of interesting flavors, which Caleb is always happy to let you sample.

Unique place, delicious shaved ice made with a vintage machine.

Brrr! Harbor is better than ice cream! 🍧 it’s delicious and refreshing. I only wish they were open year round, but I’ll take what I can get! Highly recommend everyone make a point to go in say hi and eat some flavored ice!

The shaved ice was incredible with so many flavor options. We were in Maine vacationing and had to come back twice because it was such a favorite. The staff was incredibly kind and we will definitely be back on our next visit out here!

The shaved ice we got was delicious with many flavors that were all natural and unique. The ice was so fine and pleasant to eat too. Would highly recommend and would eat multiple bowls of it too!

Super friendly super nice, He re setup his shop 15 minutes after closing and made friendly chat while making our shaved ice and he was very accommodating and even gave us samples. He went out of his way to help us and his shop is definitely worth a visit.

We stopped in for a quick treat while driving the island. Ya’ll, I’m telling you this place is GREAT! So many yummy choices. The young man who served us was exceptionally nice and friendly. We tried a few flavors and landed on the Butter Beer. It was AMAZING!!
Do yourself a favor and stop in! We will definitely be visiting again during our stay.

The girls working the counter were super friendly the moment we walked in the door! The world would be such a better place if we all had even an 1/9 of their joy and kindness! The shaved ice was absolutely perfect and just want we needed on a warm day after a good hike!

Flavors are top tier, especially the natural made ones. Also the employee is very good.

Vegetarian options: Best water ice, no meat.

Kid-friendliness: It's Hawaiian water ice. Doesn't get much better.

Sooo many flavors to choose from! The smalls were plenty big for us to share with our toddlers! We ate it too fast to grab any pictures! Went across the street to the park for the kids while we ate. Cash only! Definitely recommend!

We stopped while visiting the area, and we loved it so much we returned the following day! The shaved ice and coffee are both delicious. We had fun coming up with different flavor combinations to try! The owner is friendly, and we enjoyed chatting with him. We will be back next time we’re in the area!
