Food was good. Reasonable prices. Blueberry pie was the best. I came back 3 nights just for the pie. My wife got the Chicken Panini, it came with blueberry spread on it. Wow, awesome.

This is a walk-up type of place. Food is delicious, but not with a fancy atmosphere. I had the crab roll, which is similar to a lobster roll, only less expensive, sweeter, and crab. I also got the clam chowder and a Blueberry ale. Yum!

Great place to grab some lobster. Amazing blueberry pie too. Some of the best lobster and pie we had in Maine. Reasonable prices and friendly staff too.

I've had multiple lobster rolls on MDI and this was the most mediocre I have had. Go someplace else.

We’ve been coming here for years, and when we do it’s at least two visits per visit in Bar Harbor. We’ve eaten lobster dinners at restaurants downtown and the Lobster Pound, and by far the best tasting is here. The key is they cook their produce in fresh sea water, and it makes a whole world of difference. Other places have smaller lobsters, chewy tough lobsters (for under 3lb; the bigger the tougher they get), and bitter aftertaste lobsters - but never this place. The atmosphere is serene, relaxing, the perfect place for gatherings. You can actually hear each other talk, unlike the loud music in other outdoor dining experiences.
Best of all, they have the best blueberry pies!! They make them from scratch and we always bring back a whole pie for the road home.
(Ps: if you’re not in the mood for lobsters, try the crab roll. It is just as delicious as the fresh seafood and pie)

Great reasonably priced food, and free fire pit while you eat and drink. The hot dogs are made of pork, chicken and beef. The mussels are good, potato salad is just okay and the blueberry pie is delicious!

Average experience. This was our first stop in Bar Harbor. We were recommended this place on social media. It was extremely expensive and just meh. We ordered a hard shell medium lobster and a lobster roll. We loved the lobster roll. It was cold with mayo style. I’ve only ever had lobster roll once before and this was a lot better. The lobster was yummy. They paired it with Cape Cod beans potato chips which I thought was cheap.
We ordered blueberry pie and whoopie pie. Both were meh. The blueberry pie lacked flavor and the whoopie pie just isn’t my thing.
The atmosphere is nice. It’s all outdoors and you all up to the shack to order. You have to throw out your trash, but they do serve you the food. They call out your number and you raise ur hand and they come over. They have a fire pit and Adirondack chairs which is nice. I loved their old soaker blueberry soda.
