Visited C Ray while vacationing in Maine. Lobster was delicious melt in your mouth. Can’t find lobster that good in the south! Definitely make a stop if you’re in the Bar Harbor area

EXCELLENT lobster - SO good that we came back the next day! We ordered 4 boiled soft shell lobsters that we took home to eat for dinner. They were absolutely fabulous. So tender, flavorful and juicy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

Was looking for a lobster pound and we pulled into two others before coming to C-Ray's. The other places didn't offer cooked lobster by itself. They all had combination dishes that included other seafood. We ordered plain cooked lobster and it was very good. You need to know it comes with butter. We asked and the girl taking our order said she didn't think it did so we bought two butter dishes for our four lobsters. The added butter was $3 per added container coating us another $6. When the lobster came, each one had its own butter (plus the added two- which we didn't need, or use). So don't order butter. I wish their employee had been better informed. Other than the ridiculous over charge for butter this was a good experience for our teenagers who had never had lobster like this before.

This places in amazing! The outside seating area is so cute, they also have a heated seating area for when it is cold. Outside they have different games to play. The service was amazing the girl taking our order was really nice and the lobster was amazing and the blueberry pie 10/10 I highly recommend this place!

My favorite place to get lobster rolls and mussels! Prices are on par or cheaper than all nearby spots and they have the best mayo lobster roll I have had. Highly recommend.
Overall, a bit of a let down for us. We tried the lobster panini, as well a red hot dog. The lobster panini was lacking flavor, and didn't have as much meat as you would expect for such an expensive item. The red hot dog was also very basic, even though it was highly rated. It was literally a hot dog that was died red. We also tried some of their deserts, which were very simple and lacked flavor again. It was a fun vibe sitting outside and eating, but the food was not memorable, especially considering its high price tag.
