Everything on the menu is vegetarian and can easily be made vegan. We tried both the spicy shyou ramen and the miso ramen, both were fantastic. 100% of the profits go to fight food insecurity. I highly recommend for anyone who loves ramen. I’ve never gotten to go to a ramen restaurant and order anything I want due to being vegan so I was like a kid in a candy shop.

What a gem!! We need more stars than 5 to make this place justice. The broth was so flavorful and such a refreshing experience compared to having bland veggie broth and calling it vegan. Thank you so much! The food is made with so much care it’s comes through! People complaining about the price is nuts, everything in bar harbor was priced like this, I saw appetizers on several menus priced at $18 for an app let alone an actual entree, people complaining about how expensive the food is are so out of touch. It’s VERY clear this is a vegetarian/vegan establishment and also that all proceeds go to community programs and Im personally happy to pay “extra” to support places like this. And honestly this wasn’t extra, prices were on par to every other restaurant we visited during our stay with extra flavor. I also really appreciated the clear efforts in reducing our waste by the use cloth napkins and minimal single use utensils. Keep up the good work, I would be elated to have an establishment like this in my hometown! Can’t recommend enough!

Really delicious shio ramen— I also liked how simple ordering was.
The atmosphere was lacking, but I don't need atmosphere if the food is good! It was clean and organized, and the people in the kitchen were kind. The music choice was also great (Van Morrison's Astral Weeks played as I walked in)—
But yes, I got the shio ramen with seitan and beansprouts, and it was really delicious, and the ajitama was done to perfection. It was also out of the hustle and bustle of downtown Bar Harbor, so it was a welcome retreat.
Would absolutely go back. On par with any shio ramen I've had in New England

Cute ramen place. Basically self serve, with the QR code but found that efficient.Classic ramen was delicious, nice portion size. All waste is composted! (By yourself when disposing of your leftovers)

Honestly the best vegan ramen I think I have ever had (not counting in Japan!). This place is incredible. Everything is at least vegetarian and they offer two vegan options, and vegan sides. The spicy mushroom is my favorite but they are both delicious. The shishitos were also phenomenal. Do not miss this spot if you are in Bar Harbor and Acadia!

We were recently in Tokyo and Okinawa and had countless vegan ramen soups. This one didn’t disappoint!! 10/10 and we as well highly recommend adding the tofu to your ramen! Friendly staff and simple interior. We liked it!

There are 4 ramen options, all vegan or veganizable. There are also drinks and small appetizers. One ramen was out of stock. I tried the rich shoyu ramen (veganized, without the egg) and the spicy miso ramen. Both were very good. The fried tofu in the rich shoyu ramen was out of this world, so if you can, I highly recommend getting it added in your ramen if it doesn’t come with it already. The yuzu-ade was tart and refreshing. I would come back to try others! Really exciting to see a vegetarian place where everything can be made vegan on MDI. Much needed!!!

Also love the mission of the restaurant, with profits going to feed the community and those in need. Don’t let the simple atmosphere fool you, the culinary experience is top notch!
This spot was amazing. Some of the best ramen I’ve had in a long time. I honestly wouldn’t have noticed it was vegetarian unless it wasn’t pointed out to me.

Only here 3 days per week. Come in, grab a menu, sit down, and use the QR code to order and pay - quick and efficient. They call your name when its ready. Sadly they were out of the bao buns. My sister got the miso, she was very happy with all the vegan options. I got the shoyu, a little salty for my taste but i tried some of hers and it was pretty amazing. I think you clear your own bowl when youre done? There wasnt any signage but i found a bin to put it in. Seemed authentic. Paid street parking.

We were pleasantly surprised at how amazing the food is here. This was our best vegan meal in Bar Harbor. All the vegan items we had were amazing. The spicy vegan ramen (I think called XO) was particularly incredible.

We also had the Classic Shio and the Spicy Mushroom Miso…great taste and would get again! My non vegan friends really liked the food, also! Come give this play a try if you want great Ramen!
