First impression was terrible, looking for a nice meal on the water and being greeted by a woman who looked genuinely offended at our presence; AirPod in no smile and seemed completely disinterested in her job. The food was decent but the price was definitely above average. The shrimp were chewy and flavorless, the haddock and flounder however were highlights of the meal.

Food was good. Quick service and the view from outside is great. Prices better than a lot of places in town.

Place was empty despite all the restaurants being full from a cruise ship recently docking. Hostess was annoyed and rude enough to steer us away. Glad we ate somewhere else.

We decided to go here on a whim. We had just finished our sail at Bar Harbor Whale Company. We both ordered the Fish Sandwich - one grilled, one blackened. We both loved our fish sandwiches, probably one of the better meals we had in Bar Harbor!

When you're with a big group and a toddler in Bar Harbor, finding a spot with no wait is a huge win, and that's exactly why we chose Fish House Grill. With a 40-minute wait at another spot, we were happy to be seated right away. We were a party of seven, and most of us ordered lobster and seafood dishes. I went with the Lazy Lobster, hoping for a hassle-free meal. While the portion was decent, the food didn't quite hit the mark for freshness and flavor that you'd expect from a Maine seafood spot. Our bill came to over $300, which felt a bit steep for the overall quality of the meal. It's a convenient option if you need to get in and out quickly, but I'd suggest exploring other places in the area for a more authentic and high-quality seafood experience.

I had the best clam chowder I have ever had and I try a lot of chowder. Mostly down in cape cod. It was awesome. Well don5 to the cook.

Lobster roll was classically prepared and served. It was a little over priced to keep with tradition.
Clam chowder was good but needed a few more clams.

The maple bacon wrapped scallops, a delicious caprese sandwich, blueberry frozen daquiris, blueberry cheesecake, a view on the water...all of it was perfect! Wish we got more scallops though.

While waiting for our food we could see in the kitchen. The cook used his bear hand to pick up the pasta to warm up. Grabbed the plate putting his hands almost in the middle of the plate. Grossed me right out!

Really great lobster and you eat outside under umbrella picnic tables. My Amazing Lazy Man Lobster was so good. Oysters, Haddock were also awesome. Great staff. Great outside deck into the harbor.
