First time in Maine. Had to try the seafood. Sorry not a fan. Waitress was the best, so helpful with suggestions on what to try. Beautiful restaurant and would like to try again with different food choices.

Came back for the bacon wrapped scallops and left 2 of the 5 on the serving platter because they were so overcooked neither of us was interested
Got two cups of clam chowder which turned out to be good tasting potato chowder. Note to chef- there are supposed to be clams in clam chowder Great
God forbid we wait until the guests are done, let’s just go ahead and vacuum all around them, they won’t mind all the dust swirling in the air and landing in their food, will they?

Me and my mom went down here looking for a place to eat in bar harbor we went down the stairs and we are in Maine so my mom is trying to get lobster she asked the hostess for the market price for lobster and she handed us the 2024 market price the problem here is the market price went way down in 2025 because of tariffs so she tried to get us to pay almost DOUBLE the price of the actual price

For Oct. 11- Fish House Grill is a fun place to go see “the Bar Harbor show” and enjoy some fresh seafood eats while you’re at it. We had a grand time people and activity watching from our seaside perch. We went with the FHG Fish Tacos and Haddock Sandwich which were both tasty and very good. The Bar Island Ice Teas we had went down nicely. Very much recommended.

This year was my first time there. It was the worst meal I ever had. I went on oct 19. I was not told that the restaurant was closing the next day. I had gotten the flounder which was so salty you could hardly eat it. I told the waitress and she said she would mention it to the cook. Then I thought we could salvage the day an ordered dessert. I was told they only had one piece of blueberry and one piece of chocolate Left. That's when we were told the restaurant was closing the next day. $140.00 later. This was my first time in bar harbor......what a memory.

Lack of service from hostess and waitress. Bartender was nice. Very underwhelming experience. Not ideal. We felt like WE were a burden to the staff.
Love this place !!! Got the lobster bake Comes with a huge delicious whole lobster plus clams mussels and clam chowder So far best lobster I've had in Maine!!! Ana was a terrific server. Hubby got the lobster roll and.loved it Said best so far. Highly recommend this amazing.place

The fish house was a solid lunch option for my wife and I. We started off with the calamari. I had a full rack of ribs with red potatoes and corn on the cob. My wife had the crab roll. Overall, the ribs beat my expectations for an ocean town. The corn was the only disappointment but its corn so... we ended lunch with the blueberry pie which was the best id ever had. I cant stress how good it was. Hint do not get cream or ice cream on it.
