Only regret about going here was not getting a second order of Mac and cheese. Literally the best I’ve ever had. Visited Nashville not long ago and your hot chicken sandwich was sooo much better than I’d had down there. This place is such a hidden gem!

Located in the busy downtown Bar Harbor area…on Cottage Street about a block in from the waterfront.
Metered street parking (credit card and Park Mobile App) available in the area.
Main area of store has the registers, where you order and pay, and some tables and chairs there. You place your order and pay at the registers and take a number to your table. Once your food is ready, it will be taken to your table.
They have lots of better-than-fast food, fast food-like options, including chicken fingers, sandwiches, French fries and salads. They also offer a variety of dipping sauces, varying in heat and flavor.
We got some chicken fingers, French fries and a few drinks. Everything was good…but while the chicken itself was super-crunchy, it was lacking seasoning (basic salt and pepper). I know many sauced-chicken places typically under-season their chicken as the sauce will provide the desired flavor...not uncommon.
We opted to sit upstairs which had a ton of tables and chairs…much more space up there. There are even some outdoor tables on the balcony area.
Bathrooms were very clean.
All staff we encountered, included register and server staff, were friendly, informative and efficient.

Food was pretty good and price is normal for Bar Harbor and the food you got. I did not like how I ordered a soda and it came in a tiny cup and there were no refills, what restaurant doesn’t have free refills for soda?

This is some of the best southern comfort food I have had in a long time, and I grew up in the south. The group of us got nuggets, tenders, What the Cluck, and two of their loaded fries. The nuggets and tenders came with fries and a biscuit, which were both very good. The maple buffalo sauce, chick sauce, and Jerk Mayo were all delicious. The two loaded fries we got could have been meals themselves and we definitely ordered way too much food.

Let’s start with the chicken. If you are running a chicken sandwich joint, season the breading. No flavor at all from the chicken or breading itself. Secondly, the heat should be balanced with the sweetness on things like the Blueberry Chicken Sandwich. The French fries are limp as all get out. They are well-seasoned but not crispy at all. The baked beans are like a sugar overload, so thick, and no depth of flavor. They taste like they were thrown together too quickly. Beans take a long time to develop flavor. Best thing we had? The homemade bread & butter pickles and the drink.

Chicken was grey and not the best, multiple staff were not just rude to me but to other customers, young workers don’t care and forgot multiple things. Live music outside was a nice vibe.
The food was expensive and didn't taste very good.

I don’t give a lot of 5 stars but this place is 5 stars! Amazing chicken sandwiches. We got the blueberry one and the maple one, both were delights (although I think blueberry was my fav). Chicken was crisp on the outside and super tender and moist inside, no weird chewy or lumpy bits. The sides totally stood up to the sandwich. The atmosphere was adorable as well. They have plenty of seating and a covered terrace. Service was quick. Restrooms are updated and clean. We are still thinking about those sandwiches 🤤. I would have taken more and better photos but we couldn’t wait to dig in!
