The chicken was dry but everything else was good . Loved the pretzel appetizer. Food presentation was very nice
Terrible experience, don't eat here. Had a reservation, got seated inside near the kitchen. Smelled bad so we asked and moved outdoors. Better. My wife's stomach was then upset so she just ordered sides of mashed potatoes and green beans. I got clam chowder, came out lukewarm so I sent it back and it came back hot and okay. Overpriced but ok; nothing special. I also ordered a Caesar salad. 45 minutes later we had watched many people get their food around us but not us. I asked for the check so we could leave, which really upset the waitress. She said I had to talk to the manager. After another 10 minutes of waiting we decided to just leave, and she flipped out. Again said she'd get the manager who came after a bit longer and who was reasonable. The waitress tried to charge me for everything but the manager agreed I could just pay for my chowder and the beer I had. No tip! It was a terrible experience - DON'T EAT HERE
The food was delicious, & our waiter was excellent. We were a party of six, made reservations through open table, arrived 10 mins early and were seated immediately, yay. Three of us ordered the waiters recommended plates and we were all very pleased. A definite must đ
We were looking for a kid-friendly spot in BH and found MK's listed as âgood for kidsâ on OpenTable. We rushed to make our reservation and arrived to find plenty of open tablesâbut were seated next to the empty kitchen in a dark corner. They were out of the drinks we wanted (no big deal), and while the food was fine and the service decent, the ambiance was lackingâespecially knowing there were bright, garden-view tables available nearby. Nothing bad happened, but overall, it felt underwhelming.
Great restaurant. Nice outside space. Food and service was great. Loves the seafood risotto- must get. Best I have had. Also get the toffee bread pudding and blue berry pie for dessert, you won't be disappointed.
Long wait (40+ minutes) for entrees but comped by manager. My fish special was pretty good, my spouse's salad was OK but her add on chicken was overcooked. Although the patio was busy we chose to eat inside because it was a bit cool, nothing special inside.
We had a party of 6 and the food took about 40 mins. to arrive after order. Everyone's meal was very good once we got it. Assume the wait was a once off and would go back.
Food, staff and ambience all amazing. Menu options and specials reasonably priced. Food outstanding.
Loved this place! The risotto is to die for! Waitress was very kind and the outdoor dining is super cute :)
I was in town to photograph the NYE party at Side Street Cafe for the evening. My second photographer and I decided to treat ourselves to a reservation at McKays for dinner before we had to be to work and I can confidently say it was a great choice as usual! We both sipped on a delicious Hibiscus 75 (new favorite??). Our server was attentive, kind, and soft spoken. We thoroughly enjoyed his service! For dinner I had the seafood risotto and OH MY was that dish delicious!! Everything was cooked perfectly and I cannot wait to go back again.

We always have a wonderful experience at the McKay House. The food is outstanding, and so is the service.
We at at McKay's for New Years Eve and had such a nice experience. The food was great, the restaurant was so quaint, and the staff was exceptional. Highly recommend!
Service was odd and lacking any personality. Food was OK. The truffle fries were good and worth getting again. The truffle seafood risotto was underwhelming and bland; scallops were pretty much rare. No truffle. Husband said his burger was mediocre, but wouldn't get again. Maybe because they are closing for the season so everyone was just burnt out and done. Go down the road to Thirsty Whale... food was incredible!
The perfect wintery meal on a cold night! From the festive eggnog and the sharply delicious vinaigrette on the house salad, to the rich short ribs and ice cream- it was just perfect. So grateful to have a dependably good restaurant open to celebrate with friends in the holiday season!
A comfortable local restaurant. Beautiful to eat outside on an autumn evening with lights in trees, small heaters
