My fault for not checking out the menu before entering but for a place that has a name of an Irish Pub their menu was short on Irish dishes. Food was less than satisfying. Except for the host the service was friendly and fast.

I come to the island every autumn. There are countless places to dine. I've been to many, but I've got to the point where Paddys is my go to place for dinner. The staff is excellent. The environment is great. The food is fine. I've never had a bad experience.

Loved this place stepped off the boat from a whale watching tour came straight here Makenzie was my server she was great ordered a couple things and made sure they all came out at the right time

While on an anniversary trip in Bar Harbor. Paddy’s is a great spot, right by the water. Great alternative when you’ve had enough lobster or just want great food! Fantastic steak, one of the best I’ve eaten!

I was a little nervous by the reviews and after eating so much seafood we were on the hunt for something casual with good drinks and a great atmosphere. We found that here and it was perfect and a unique spot right on the water. We sat at a booth with a private little tv to watch the game. Had yummy drinks and the food was actually really good! We got the pretzel and the French dip. Pleasantly surprised.

Went for breakfast, the food is fantastic and the atmosphere of an authentic Irish Pub surrounds you. The service was very slow. Not the fault of the staff, but that they were woefully understaffed. 2 servers and one hostess, who also bussed all the tables, were responsible for all the indoor and outdoor seating service.

This is our 2nd year coming here while we vacation in Bar Harbor. The food is 1st class - from my Stout burger, to my son’s colossal soft pretzel and warm lobster roll, to my daughters fish taco’s (haddock) and my wife’s steak and beet salad. I don’t understand why it has a 4.3 rating, it is the best Irish pub I’ve been to and some of the best food I’ve had in the Bar Harbor area. The waitress was super friendly as were most people in the establishment. It is a first class place with indoor and outdoor streetside dining. Highly recommend it. I was glad my wife remembered from a year ago that we really enjoyed everything, so that we went back this year.
