Paddy's Irish Pub & Restaurant

Nice decor, ok service. I ordered truffle fries for my kids. They came back w regular fries. I asked my waiter to get me the correct order and he said it was correct. I asked him to conform w the chef so he did and came back and said it was correct order so i asked where is the Parmesan?, where is the truffle sauce? He said the fries had truffle salt. I said thats not truffle fries. He said thats how we do it. Meanwhile the menu described the fries as hand cut and w Parmesan. Never going back there. No credit to my bill. No care in the world.

It's an interesting spot. Nice view of the harbor, good for people watching. It's a big place. We ate inside. I'll say, out waiter, I believe his name is Erman, very good waiter. Ok, so drinks we had a Tullamore Dew Old Fashioned. I think it was called an Irish Old Fashioned? Partner ordered a margarita. Both were pretty good. Appetizers, Poutine and Lobster salad. Both were really good. For entrees, we got the Shirt Rib and a Steak. Short Rib was pretty good. Steak was good but a tad over cooked. All in all good spot service and a filling meal.

We tried to stop in at Paddy's for an afternoon beer, and they wouldn't let us sit outside because we only wanted a drink (i.e. no food)... it was 4pm on a weekday and the place was 90% empty... what kind of Irish pub turns someone away for wanting a beer? Went up the road instead!

Went in for breakfast. Nothing special and the omelet was not great. The service took a long time even though it was not very busy at all and the waiter was a bit rude.

Maybe this is a better place for dinner and during the regular season??

Pricy, but I suppose that is to be expected. Food was ok, service was not great, other than to take our order we. never saw the wait staff.

Great vibes all around. I had the chicken salad sandwich BLT recommended from our waitress and I’m still dreaming about it, so delicious! Food was great, but service was even better with the host and waitress checking in on us consistently. Can’t wait to go back!

Premium location, great view. We stopped by here for breakfast. I got the omelet, and it definitely hit the spot. The little seasoned potato patties it came with were amazing. It can be pretty busy, so you might have to wait a bit.
