This place should be avoided. I went here for dinner with some friends and ordered an over prices $70 or so meal. I forgot exactly what I ordered. It came and was cold. I politely asked if it could be fixed and they were nice about it but brought it back slightly warmed. Regardless of the temperature it was mid as hell. I could've cooked some better food at my house. It was just not worth it. Service was definitely not an issue- only the mid ass food

It was a beautiful day and we had our dog so we asked for an outside table. The view overlooking the harbor was nice but it was the food that was outstanding. We had fish tacos, a reuben sandwich, and the best roasted brussel sprouts ever. 10/10

Walked right in; ate in bar. Service was great. But food was just ok. We both ordered fish and chips. We asked for them to leave the truffle off the fries. Truffle is so 2015! Well, our fries were tainted. Ugh. The fish was ok.. the batter was very heavy and for the price, it was a very small piece of fish. I guess we just expected a bit better meal. Acceptable, but not great.

My recent visit this is Irish restaurant was a pleasant culinary journey. I decided to try the fish dish, and it was an excellent choice. The fish was cooked to perfection, with a crispy exterior and tender, flaky interior. It was seasoned just right, enhancing the natural flavors of the fish without overwhelming it. The accompanying side dishes, including mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables, were equally well-prepared, adding a wholesome touch to the meal.To quench my thirst, I ordered a mocktail. It was a delightful blend of various fruit juices with a hint of fizz, offering a refreshing and non-alcoholic alternative. The mocktail's presentation was also quite impressive, served in a stylish glass with a garnish that made it visually appealing. The restaurant's ambiance was inviting, with a cozy and with options to dine outside as well. The service was attentive, and the staff was knowledgeable about the menu, providing recommendations and answering any questions I had. This contributed to the overall positive dining experience. In conclusion, my experience at this Irish restaurant was a memorable one. You should visit if are in Bar Harbour

A great option for a later dinner in Bar Harbor, as many restaurants close between 8-9pm. While technically an Irish spot, they do have a variety of menu options. I went with the fish tacos and they were absolutely delicious! My server Rebecca was very attentive and friendly, and the overall atmosphere was warm and comfy. Great for both families or a date night.

If lobster or sea food isn't for you Paddy's is for you! I had an amazing burger from their menu that I could seriously eat everyday!

A nice option in crowded downtown Bar Harbor. Ambience is quite nice. And the food is good. I had the warm lobster roll with drawn butter. A generous portion of lobster and the fries were nice and hot. The coleslaw had a little bit of tang due to the horseradish. Hubby had the surf and turf and really enjoyed it.

The best fish and chips ever! The portion was generous, piping hot and our server very friendly and helpful. A nice cold Guinness on draft too. My friend had the same and two others enjoyed their hot sandwiches and beers.

Ambiance is a bit dark. The service is strained. They seemed to have enough people, but it does not help that the diners use them as tour guides and concierge. The food was disappointing. We ordered a breakfast sandwich 3/5 and avocado toast 2/5.

This restaurant is traditionally Irish from the name, atmosphere, and the selection of Stout. Where it differs though is the implementation of local Maine cuisine, which means lobster. For my starter I opted for the Lobster Bisque, which is a very thick, creamy, lobster soup with a very rich flavor. While delicious, due to its richness and size, you may want to have this as an entree. For my main course I had the lobster roll, which came with your standard (but excellently executed) truffle fries, which weren’t very truffle-y though, but also some delicious spicy sliced pickles. This can be gotten either hot with butter, or cold with mayonnaise which I ordered. While it was Definetly good, I couldn’t distinguish its flavors very well after just having lobster bisque. For desert I had the bread pudding served with Vanilla Ice Cream, and had a candied pecan, rolled chocolate pieces on top, and rum-soaked raisins which helped add to the flavor. It also comes with a Carmel sauce which is drizzled over top. Overall nice atmosphere, and great service also. We dined on a Thursday evening when the wait time was well over an hour for most restaurants, and Paddy’s used a text message system to tell me when a table was ready, which was about 35 minutes later, so I took this opportunity to walk around the downtown area and window shop.Vegetarian options: Several salads are available with a large assortment of tasty and uniquely flavored additions such as specialty cheeses, a veggie burger patty, heirloom tomatoes, etc.Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is directly accessible from the sidewalk as there are no steps, and there seems to be a good amount of room between tables to navigate.

We stopped by the night before and looked at the menu. We decided to try it the next day. So the next day came, and we tried the place out for lunch. We were blown away. Gabby our waitress was amazing, and skilled in making recommendations. . Grant the host was so professional, and friendly with a great sense of humor. So we enjoyed lunch so much we decided to return for dinner. At dinner Grant greeted us and remembered us and appreciated that we returned. At dinner we were seated near the bar, and Ricky was our server. He too was warm, friendly, courteous, and he also had a great sense of humor. We had a great meal, and before we left we were greeted by the manager, Luke, who wanted to make sure we were satisfied with our meal, and the service we received. We gave him an enthusiastic response and we will definitely be returning to Paddy's on our next visit to Bar Harbor.

Greasy food - fish, chips, even the pretzel which was stale and the worst large pretzel I've ever had. I asked for Pinot Grigio on a Thursday at 4:45 pm and they were out. The lobster bisque was good as was the service. But I would not recommend unless you like mushroom/truffle flavored greasy fries. Plus they really push you through fast to turn over the tables.
