Delicious latte and excellent service!
if you are looking for good coffee in Bar Harbor, try Pink Pastry Shop, not the nasty coffee at Acadia Perk. The coffee at my hotel wasn't the best but I made two stops here for the coffee and let me tell you it was great! The staff was also super sweet. I knocked off one star for two reasons: it would have been great if they had some indoor seating; and second, the scone wasn't great. The lemon tart though was nice. Overall I do recommend you check them out, especially if you're looking for good coffee around the area.
Absolutely loved the lemon and blueberry whoopie pie! The blueberry pie was okay.
They have a HUGE variety of sweet treats to choose from. We went with the Belgian chocolate croissant and it was delish!
A mixed review: my chocolate croissant was delicious, and the staff was friendly. However my coffee was filled a full inch short of the lid, and there's no option for inside dining even though there is room for some tables and chairs to be set up.
The biggest disappointment is this is a *cash only* business. There is an ATM on site, with a $2 surcharge, in addition to your bank charges. In this day and age, there is no good reason to not accept credit cards, just pass along the processing fee like many other merchants. I would have spent twice as much during my visit if I could have charged my meal, vs mentally tallying a total against the small amount of cash I typically carry.
This is a sweet spot for sweet teeth. I’ve never had a cupcake or pastry here that I didn’t like. Lots of options including a variety of drinks like coffee, tea, iced tea, and smoothies. Cash only at this little shop.
Ordered cupcakes but the icing tasted like some kind of chemical cleaner had been substituted for an ingredient. It wasn’t just bad, it was inedible.
The blueberry dream cake was MAGNIFICENT!!! It is some of the best dessert I have ever had. My friend got the blueberry cheesecake and was also very pleased. I would 100% go back as the owners were also very welcome and very kind. This is certainly not a place you want to skip if you’re looking for a sweet treat on your trip to Bar Harbor.
Pistachio latte was good enough that I went back 2 more times.
Make sure to bring cash or be prepared to use the ATM, no cards.
Blueberry Pie was bland and the coffee has to be some of the worst watered down coffee I've ever tasted. Cash only which speaks volumes. Maybe the other desserts are tasty but avoid the coffee and bb pie. Standing room only.

I went in to purchase a cupcake, but they didn't have any so I purchased a slice of cake for $7.50. I was putting away my cash in my purse and the lady at the cash register told me to move over for the next customer. I hadn't even put my money away or gotten my peice of cake. I felt she was really rude.

I went into this shoppe to get a hot drink and a dessert with my family after walking around on a windy and cold day. Unfortunately, the cashier was colder than it was outside (girl, maybe mid 20s). Nevermind the fact we had to use an ATM to order here, which normally would have made me take my business elsewhere if not for an inpatient child, but the part of the experience that left a sour taste in our mouths was that we ordered 2 whoopie pies and a beverage and were subsequently charged and given extra pies. Once we realized the blunder, about ten seconds after handing over the cash, I politely informed her she gave and charged us too much. She argued with me stating she knows what we ordered and was not going to be issuing a refund after she already put her hands in the cash register and apparently reconsidered. Another person in my family went to inquire with another staff member, and the original cashier took the cash out of the tip jar and rudely said, "here's the money for the pastry, keep it," which was enough to cover one, not two of the pastries we were given that we did not order.
I don't even care how the coffee and pastries tasted. They were okay. I worked in customer service for years and never in my wildest dreams would I think treating customers like that is acceptable. Go to any of the other places down the street.
Miserable people who have no idea what constitutes decent customer service. If I could give zero stars I would.
I came in to order a drink and 2 pies. The lady misheard my order and overcharged me, refusing a refund the first time after she looked like she was going to give it. I had to go in the store again and ask for a manager to figure things out. For reference, we wanted two whoopie pies and got charged for 4. They gave us a refund for only one and pocketed the other money.
These people are more willing to argue with you about mistakes they made on your order instead of fixing it in a easy and straightforward way. Super Unprofessional, rude, and the whoopie pies were stale anyways. Thanks for nothing! Take your business elsewhere folks :) they're nothing but a rip off

Blueberry pie is INSANE. I’m from
NY and I ask anyone I know going to bar harbor to pick me up some
Pies.
That being said 35 bucks is steep for a pie.
Try it, you won’t be disappointed
