We had cold, rainy weather while in Bar Harbor and a restaurant waiter recommended we check out Reel Pizza for a rainy day activity. He said it can’t quite be described, and that you just have to experience it yourself. He was right! Such a cool place! We had never experienced a theatre like this set up with actual couched and diner-like counters between each row of seats. The pizza was actually pretty good and the seats were comfortable. They provide a 7 minute intermission halfway through the movie which was nice to get popcorn and use the bathroom. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxed or indoor activity while visiting Bar Harbor/ Acadia National Park! Most affordable meal in town!

I only go to this movie theater. If they don't play it, I don't watch it. Nothing beats meeting up with a few friends and sharing a pizza while relaxing on a couch here!

Ordered two pizzas from here because years ago I remember it being the best pizza. Paid over $30 for two pizzas and it tasted like someone put cheap pizza sauce on it and just threw on some toppings. Do not recommend to anyone looking for food

This is the cutest theater! We came after dinner so didn't have any food but it looked really good. Next time I will come hungry. We had beer and hard cider both of which were good. This is a small theater with small screens but the atmosphere is lovely. Our theater had 5 sofas down in the front. Talk about relaxing to watch a movie. It was like being in someone's living room. Then half way through they pause the movie and turn on the lights for intermission. Brilliant! All the little kiddos could go to the bathroom and walk around. The adults could refill our drinks and no one misses any of the movie. I am so glad we happened to walk by just as Wild Robot was starting and got to experience this wonderful theater. Highly recommend.

Ive been to this theater twice. Never in my life have i experienced such rude service. I hope whomever works there reads this piece of advice..if you don't like your job, LEAVE..if there was another place within 100 miles to catch a movie around here i would do so

Crazy how a little cinema like this, Has the best pizza in Bar Harbor! We were waiting for the bus, so we decided to go across the street and grab a beer and a small pizza! The staff was super nice, and the pizza WAS AMAZING! Highly recommend, You don’t even have to watch the movie you can eat right out front!

We’ve been coming every year to Reel Pizza since they first opened almost 30 years ago. All of the pizza is delicious, but the Godzilla is a personal favorite. Grab a local draft beer and relax on one of the kitschy old couches with a tv tray to enjoy your movie. They do an intermission to ensure you don’t miss any action if you have to refresh on food or a bathroom break.
