Cool atmosphere and good food, though maybe a little expensive. We had the clam chowder, salad, Lobster Roll served hot, and a strawberry milkshake. We went towards the end of the night and our server was nice, but clearly ready to be done with the shift. For example, we did not get waters until over halfway through our meal because we also got mocktails, even though we asked for the waters first thing. Overall, not a bad experience, but I probably wouldn't go back unless someone else really wanted to go. We sat in the balcony and I will say the view was pretty cool!

Nice setting but below average food. I got the lobster grilled cheese and the only taste was the greasy bread. Wasn’t worth the high price. Not sure if it is what they serve in Maine, but the clam chowder was not even close to being creamy. We got there early before the dinner rush and the lower area was almost empty. Partly my fault, but they should have asked us…2 old slow moving seniors…if we like the upstairs before they ushered us up there. I will say our waitress was very nice and service was quick.

I found the place to be somewhat overwhelming with the past. Albeit cool to see, not for me. The food on the other hand was outstanding, I mean it was really, really good. Well prepared and presented. The staff are the best ambassadors of the restaurant.

Food was AWFUL! We had the clam chowder, lobster, and blueberry pie. The clam chowder had no clams. Lobster tasted like dirty gym socks and the blueberry pie was not baked…the dough was raw.

Really cute place! It gave off a nostalgic vibe and the food was amazing. The Seafood Alfredo was amazing. Salmon was great too. All in all this place is for people who want a nice sit down meal to enjoy with the family.

Lunch at Route 66 today was AMAZING!! Jesse, our server, was awesome. And the Jesse Lobster Tacos and our Lobster grilled cheese were sooooo good! We can’t wait to come back the next time we are in town!

First off, the food was great!
My husband, son, and I went for lunch. We were seated, unfortunately in front of the A/C unit that was turned on when it was 50 outside. I had my winter jacket on the whole time.
We waited for about 15min and then the hostess came over and asked if a server had been with us, which we answered no. I’m not sure if anyone knew who had our table. After another 5min, the server finally came.
Since we waited awhile, we ordered our drinks and food at the same time. After another 15min or so, we had no drinks and were THIRSTY after a long morning hike. My husband had said we should have gotten up to leave, but I didn’t want to find another restaurant. Finally the server came over and said they were cleaning or changing out the water system for the drinks and it might take a minute. We finally got our drinks when the rest of our food came out. I have had surgery where I can’t drink at the same time as eating, so I didn’t get to drink anything.
I will say the food was very good. My husband got clam chowder and a chicken quesadilla, and I got the buffalo cauliflower tacos, which were good!
Unfortunately, the service and cold air was a turn-off and won’t be going back :(

Our server Newton was awesome! My husband and I very much enjoyed our food. We had the chicken and waffles & pulled pork bowl. I highly recommend the pulled pork bowl - mashed potatoes were amazing!
