Walked into Bayview Hotel of which the Rusticator Room is their bar. Front desk lady didn't even know it was there in the back of the lobby. Then being the only people, waited nearly 15 minutes for two simple drinks to be made. A chocolate martini and a black russian = $32. No wonder the place was empty and ignored by the front desk. Total disappointment and untapped opportunity for a balcony that has a spectacular view.

The Rusticator Room at the Bayview Hotel is my favorite hangout in Bar Harbor. It is so chic, but has a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Ask the bartender to make you one of their signature cocktails and go sit on the deck to enjoy the most beautiful view in town!
