Side Street Cafe Reviews
Wicked awesome to find a restaurant that has great food, is reasonably priced (for Bar Harbor) and also caters to food allergies! I’ve recently come up with some food sensitivities and can no longer have gluten or dairy, and these guys acted like it was no big deal at all. We will definitely be back next time we are in town!
Me, my fiancé and two friends went to Side Street last week for lunch before our elopement up in Acadia, and we had a fantastic experience! We brought one of our dogs and it was no problem at all to eat out on the deck! Everyone was so nice and welcoming, and the food and drinks were incredible! My fiancé came here before and recommended it, and this place did not disappoint!
We also had trouble finding a place for a reception so we resorted to looking into local restaurants...read full review

Side Street Cafe is a welcoming restaurant that accommodates large groups and is kid-friendly, offering a child menu and activities like clay for kids. The menu features flavorful dishes like the salmon, Boys in Blue burger, and Jenna's Jam bowl, all of which are delicious and well-seasoned. The service is great, with attentive and friendly waiters who make sure to accommodate everyone's dietary needs. The atmosphere is lively, with a band playing on certain nights. The restaurant is also wheelchair accessible and offers takeout options. It is nice for a day when the weather is lovely so you can sit outside on their patio away from the chaos a bit. The lobster mac and cheese and the lobster roll are delicious, and the drinks are really creative.
