It was a perfectly fine place. It was easily able to accommodate my party of 6.
The food was ok but overpriced.
First time here for us. The adult beverages were excellent as was the lobster bisque, lobster roll and Fisk and chips. Service was 5 stars and the staff was friendly and helpful. We sat out side by the bay it was a little chilly and foggy but the sun broke through and we really enjoyed our time.
The best dining experience we had in Bar Harbor. We were here for lunch & a couple of beers. It's surprisingly hard to eat in BH with a waterfront view, so this place wins in that respect. Service was good even on a busy day. Lobster bisque was tasty, and the lobster roll was the best I had the entire trip.
Kitchen was very slow, and our requested dairy free, medium rare steak frites came out covered in cheese cooked well done. Manager took the steaks off the bill but didn’t help in any other way. Lower your expectations if you come at all.
Visited Stewmans for a late dinner on Saturday, 6/28. The food was good, the blueberry pie was excellent. What really made the visit great was their team - Mike the bartender, and two other women whose names I did not get (I think one was a J name) - were so friendly, funny, and just had excellent service overall. Would return for them alone.
Amazing experience, from location, friendly hard working staff and exceptional meal! Order the Down East Lobster Experience. It is the quintessential meal that encompasses everything about the region!
Expensive and worth it. Don't bother looking at the menu. Just get the Down East Lobster Experience. The lobster is amazing, but so is the clam chowder that starts the meal. Wait till you get the blueberry pie with homemade ice cream. Waitress was very kind and fun. I hardly ever write reviews, but this was very special.
Great outdoor dining, great food and service! If you’re looking for good seafood, it won’t disappoint.
Fantastic seafood platter
Probably the most expensive salad I have ever had at $35 but the lobster cobb was delicious and it had plenty of lobster meat! I enjoyed sitting outside by the water.

Lobster Bisques
Fried seafood was super oily/greasy. Tasted like it was cooked in old oil with 5 other types of food: yuck. Soup was bland. $65 for two for lunch before tip.

Fresh food just keeps proving itself over and over again here in Maine!
It was a very cool day, but since we were bundled up from our Lighthouse Cruise anways (which post cruise we got a 10% discount at this restraunt), we decided to eat lunch outside by the water.
The burger had an amazing chargrilled flavor, the Fresh Haddock fish sandwich was AMAZING, the fries were HOT and crispy and the HOT coffee w real cream warmed us up on this cold day. The ocean view was great! Service was good and friendly with the exception of the food runner who dropped our food and ran. This is one of those places where after every bite you're saying " This is so good!"

Nice outdoor decoration, but overall, including food wasn't very impressive. Would pick somewheres else next time.
