Very friendly staff with a great menu. We ended up grabbing breakfast here every day we were in Bar Harbor. Highly recommend the breakfast sandwiches and crepes. Note that their seating inside is limited, but the view from the outdoor seating is beautiful.

Went there before whale watching one day and I loved my lavender latte! The breakfast crepes were decent. While the people were nice, we didn’t realize its not a sit down place so we were a little disappointed to have to sit outside on picnic tables! there are a few bistro tables inside but be prepared if you are with a group!

Tourist trap!!! The website got us! Everything looked great! Get your jimmy deans from hannafords down the road and microwave it yourself for 1/8th the price lol! We ordered the smoked salmon bagel sandwich, sausage egg and cheese crepe, two lattes, and a slice of blueberry pie which rang up to $55.00!!! Plus the 5 bucks for parking and a tip! The bagel was nothing special, the slice of salmon was good sized, I got what I expected out of that. The sausage egg and cheese crepe was sub par and filled with a nice microwaved sausage patty and egg round, don’t recommend and the blueberry pie was delicious although very small. The lattes were lattes I have nothing to rave about but nothing bad to say.

Left disappointed, cute spot, but if you want a hearty breakfast for a normal price this is not the spot. This cost almost as much as our dinner last night lol decent spot if you want to run in and out but wouldn’t recommend as a sit down spot

Amazing breakfast place. Right on the waterfront. Went back a second time during our stay.

We picked the Sunrise Cafe because it was close to the Whale Watch and, boy, was it a lucky choice. Our party of four was quickly served and everyone was well-please. I had the vegetable crepes with a side of bacon. It was a generous serving with a good amount of avocado, red peppers, and a bright arugula salad.

The food was exceptionally good at sunrise Café. I had the smoked salmon crêpe, and it was amazing. We happen to see the sign on the sidewalk above and made our way down to the pier, which was such a lovely location. We were able to take our food outside and sit at the picnic tables and overlook the water while we ate our breakfast. The only reason I marked a four on atmosphere is because there were so many people there in line getting food and the café is rather small. Otherwise I’ve given it a five because I love the looks of the little café in the experience of sitting outside and eating.

I thoroughly enjoyed my Sunrise Cafe avocado, multi-grain, toast with added 2-eggs and bacon. Also, their blueberry muffin was super fresh and yummy. I highly recommend those two items! ❤️

The food was excellent. They turkey crepe and blueberry crepe was a favorite in our group. Notable is the cinnamon roll. Coffee was great. Staff were friendly and kind.

My husband and I have done a fair bit of travel and over the years have experienced some seriously lacking coffee shops and cafes. When we got a 10% discount email to Sunrise for signing up for a Whale Watch there on the pier at Bar Harbor, we fully expected Sunrise to be subpar because they could “get away with” roping us tourists in as we waited for our boat. We went anyway. And we were sooooo pleasantly surprised! The guy at the counter (didn’t catch his name, was from FL) was amazing—genuinely welcoming and laidback but professional and efficient. And the coffee and food were legit quality! The flat white was delish. And they weren’t voted Best Crepes for nothing—the ham and cheese crepe was SO good. We would absolutely recommend Sunrise!

Run of the mill - nothing special. Bagel was hard & chewy (reminded me of D-n-D) and the prices were fair. Set away from the hussle & bussle, there was no crowding or lines - the atmosphere was beautiful, set In a nice scenic location overlooking the water / Marina.

This was a great find for Breakfast. We ate their two mornings. Both times we had one of their crepes. We had the ham, egg and cheese, blueberry and cream cheese and the brown sugar. They were excellent. They also have specialty coffees and I enjoyed the latte. My wife enjoyed just their basic coffee as well. They open at 7:30. A very nice place for breakfast.

Our crêpes and avocado toast were delicious. We sat outdoors, picnic tables in the sunshine and enjoyed the dark roast coffee that was featured as well. We will definitely return for this or something sweet on the menu. The place was a little hard to find as it was not featured on #Googlemaps. #sunrisecafe #barharbor

My strawberry nutella crepe was delicious and service was fast. My matcha latte however had aquired a fishy taste, which google tells me comes from over oxidation and low quality matcha
