Me and my wife ( out of towner’s )were walking and tried to use the bathroom after hearing them blast metal music from across the street and seeing people leave in and out around 1 am. So, we stopped by, but found out they were closing and there were people still in the place. Then, all we heard is the bartender, employee or one of the guest yell to not let them in (meaning us) and then either one of them got down on the inside of the door where we could see him and started flicking me and my wife off. Wrote this review because whoever was working or managing was allowing all of it.

I was into tap and barrel tonight and have one of the best times here in Bar Harbor. Dan made sure my beer was always full and the music didn't stop. It was a fun and enjoyable night!

Dan was absolutely AMAZING as a bartender. He was super personable and was wonderful with making sure we had the drinks we needed. We went 2 nights, and the second night he knew exactly what I preferred and made sure to make sure I had what I wanted! We will definitely come back to see Dan!

This is an authentic North America place . Is so unique for his position in bar harbour, made it very popular for the tourist and for locals. Craft beer amazing here too. Got 3 different beers ,all delicious. Steaks and cheese was a good size sandwich. Is a place you will remember about . Edited 10.24.2023. I got charged an additional 20% from what is on my receipt without my approval. I had a feeling that the barman was not happy with my cash tip and I kept the receipt. Done a claim to my bank for fraud , because I cannot see it as a mistake.

Small place tuck back... don't blink you'll miss it. We called because we keep passing the place. Bartender said that there is no food.. just drinks. The place is very small and only one bartender. He was very busy and was not friendly. My old fashion was too sweet and not good for $15. Will not return.
The beer selection is unmatched! Only wish it could have found this on our first night instead of our last.

Nice to my face; then $13 dollar per CAN of beer. Charged me $52 for a 4 pack. Jokers. Beer nice but waaaaaaay more berpriced; hold ur wallets tight

We were there for Hurricane Lee. The bartender was outstanding and handsome. We had food and it was great. We watched our football games. Loved it!

My best friend and I came here to hopefully catch the Packers game. Not only did we arrive just in time, but the bartender (don't remember his name, but it was on September 24, 2023) was extremely helpful and courteous throughout our entire time there. He even let us stay well after our meals and drinks were done to watch the end of an exciting Packer win, and even cheered with us despite his obvious Patriots loyalty. We loved the quaintness of this place and in my opinion, it was one of the best environments in which I've ever watched a game. If you're ever in Bar Harbor and want to watch a game, this is the place to do it! Disclaimer: they are transparent in letting their customers know that they only receive their locally televised games. We were just fortunate that the Packer game was one of them.

This place is awesome. We were supposed to be camping in Acadia and Hurricane Lee completely changed our plans. After pivoting, with our two dogs, we could not find any bars/restaurants that would accommodate us in the rain. We had a blast here and enjoyed the awesome beer selection and great food. Will be back 100%. The staff is awesome
