The Chart Room is a gem. We’ve been coming to Bar Harbor for over 20years and always make a stop here. It never disappoints. The seafood is consistently fresh and delicious. The service is great. The on-the-water dining is nice. The location is close to downtown Bar Harbor but just far enough away to be calmer and more enjoyable. In short, a great place!

Love this restaurant. Missy was a great waitress.

Friendly service, and the seafood was excellent, the swordfish was delicious!

Good food, very generous portions. Wide beverage selection - lots of local beers available on draft and even THC infused drinks (first time we saw this in Maine). The outdoor patio had a nice harbor view. Open a little later than other places in the area which was nice when we ended a hike very late.

Best blueberry pie I have ever eaten. The pie was so good I had to go back and get a piece of blueberry pie to go the next day. The lobster was perfectly cooked and I liked that it had some precuts/slits to claws and tail which made cracking the lobster easier.

Very disappointing dinner. We ordered the broiled haddock. It was Over cooked and dry. The side potato was undercooked and cold. I was hoping for better. Don’t get taken in by the hype.

Although the restaurant was packed, our server was attentive and helpful. My girlfriend and I shared the Maine Mussels for an appetizer, she got a Steak dish and I got a Penne Seafood Special. All of the food was fantastic and arrived in a timely manner. The Maple Old Fashioned was also one of the best Old Fashioneds I have ever had!

Lobster Carbonara was disappointing at best. Watery sauce missing seasoning and tough chunks of lobster. Way over priced. Waiter zoomed in and out and never asked how the food was. Very hot inside.

Excellent food, we choose to sit in the enclosed patio, there is outdoor seating as well with beautiful views. The service was great. Many visits to our table. Great place to eat.

I started with oysters and then I got the surf and turf and everything about the meal was delicious and beautiful. The service was attentive and friendly. Beautiful view of the water from the restaurant. Overall amazing place. I came here solo so I was able to be seated at the bar right away but I would recommend making a reservation!! seats fill up quick at this great little spot

Food was amazing. However, upon walking in and asked if we had reservations and replied no, the Hostess gave a rude smirk. She then immediately turned to the next couple and asked if they had reservations and when they responded no they were given the same rude smirk. There were many tables available. We then said we were going to sit at the bar for dinner. In addition, do not plan to sit at the bar for a drink waiting for a table. We were told "House Rules" does not allow this.
The food was so amazing we over looked this rude treatment and ate ther twice.

HUGE portions of Maine seafood. Whole lobsters and wild blueberry pie. Delicious. We were downstairs in the enclosed patio so the atmosphere wasn't great.
