The Chart Room was pretty highly rated, but we found it to be folksy & although the service was efficient, the food was good but pretty ordinary for the value. The speciality drink was very good & pricey. The wines were not high quality. The scallop & halibut entrees & sides were sort of thrown on the smallish dinner plate - not very appealing. Our bill was $180 for two of us not including tip.

We had such a fabulous meal and seafood is so fresh!! A trip to Bar Harbor is not complete without having a great meal that is fresh and great service at The Chart Room!! You will not be disappointed!

Basic setting outside the town on the main road. Lobsters are fresh and really good. Excellent oysters. Blueberry pie is good as well. Everything is reasonably priced. .

Had a great experience at the Chart Room, in fact it was the only restaurant we went to twice during our stay in the area. We especially liked the blueberry cosmos, the baked haddock and the salmon entrees and thought they had the best blueberry pie we had during our visit. The servers were friendly and attentive, I highly recommend.

Excellent food. Loved our waitress. She was so helpful! The prices were high. Also- there was a hanging plant that everyone hit their head on. And the tables were situated where people bumped into sitting customers when they walked around them. It was awkward.

Excellent meal, artfully presented, gourmet. Great service. As with this level of food, portions are not large. Order the bread, delicious. I had filet, we had scampi app, and fish. Will definitely go back when in Bar Harbor.

My husband and I were in Bar Harbor for the weekend enjoying our 42nd Anniversary. The restaurant is not fancy, but neither are we! We were seating where we had a water view and it was so relaxing. The food and service was outstanding. I would recommend The Chart Room!

Went based on friends recommendation. Had the Baked Macademia nut Halibut with baked potato. Husband had steak. I didn't care for the fish - didn't think it was baked long enough. Baked potato was so-so. Husband said steak was so-so
