Had the poke stack, not what I was expecting. Could of been more traditional with better quality ingredients.

This restaurant is close to where I am staying and that is very fortunate for me. It was packed when I came in. Definitely a good sign. I was solo and able to snag a seat at the bar before long. Mikey was seriously the best bartender / server I have seen in a long time. He didn’t miss a beat with drinks and food at the bar, carry out, and filling servers’ orders. My food came out quickly and it was delicious. I would love to come back to enjoy the view during the day and to try any of the items on their tempting dessert menu.

It is a great restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere. It is not far from the main town, but far away enough that it's not too crowded. I got the lobster stew, lazy lobster, and blueberry pie, all of them delicious. One of the hosts was nice enough to tell me what to expect about the different trails. Everyone there seemed cordial.
Stopped here after a long day in Acadia and it was perfect, my favorite meal of my trip. I ordered the rolls as an appetizer, which were amazing, and came with a delicious strawberry honey butter. I ordered the macadamia nut crusted halibut, which was super good with their lobster cream sauce. Would definitely go back for that alone. I also got their apple cider/ginger beer moctail, which was light and refreshing. Finished off the night with apple crisp, nice and hearty and healthy. Our server was very sweet, and the atmosphere here is very cozy!

Loved our experience -- absolutely perfect!First of all, sit at the bar -- full service. And cross your fingers Mikey is your bartender/server! ? he's amazing and gives great recommendations! I had a Maine blueberry mojito and a Maine-iac cider. Highly recommend both! ? the blueberry mojito used real Maine blueberries, which are mini to any other blueberries I've had but pack a million times more flavor. My husband and I tried oysters for the first time because...well...when in Maine ?♀️. They were wonderful...the horseradish was legit and the red-wine-vinegar and shallot mignonette was the absolute best flavor compliment I've actually ever tasted. We also had fried haddock and mussles to go with our oysters and they were both awesome. I have zero regrets about spooning out all the garlic pieces from the mussel's butter sauce because it was so good. The haddock pieces were the perfect consistency -- each piece of fish flaked apart, not over cooked or soggy. This was, hands down, 5+!!!Make reservations if possible but please don't be dissuaded if not -- try to get a seat at the bar! It's worth a try!!!!Parking: You can also park in a parking lot across the street.

Happy hour on the bar/pier is fun. $2 oysters and $10 blue cheese olive martinis while the tide comes in.

My husband and I made a reservaiton at the Chart Room while visiting Bar Harbor for our fifth wedding anniversary. We both ordered the macadamia nut crusted halibut, and it was delicious! We finished our meal with the blueberry pie at our waiter's recommendation along with some Irish coffee, and it was perfect. The cocktails were delicious, and the wine list was impressive. Overall, this is a fun stop to add to a visit to Bar Harbor.
Lobster dinner My husband and I chose this restaurant after coming from Acadia. We were able to dine outside with our dog- which is a plus! My husband had lobster and clam chowder- both of which he loved. I had a mini lobster roll and lobster stew. I am not a huge fan of lobster but really liked the lobster stew. After hearing all of the hype about lobster rolls, I still don’t get it. Not a hater, just not a huge lobster fan. They even had menu items for the dogs! Nice perk! Also had haddock bites as an appetizer which was pretty good too. Our server was friendly and efficient and overall a really good meal and experience.

We had dinner here. We unwisely had a big lunch, so weren't super hungry for dinner and couldn't take full advantage of this place. But we did have their version of cioppino (not soup broth but a chunky tomato sauce) with excellent mussels, shrimp, haddock and scallops. My husband had a cup of clam chowder that was very good. He also had a great blueberry pie (I had the apple crisp, which I recommend skipping). We had a great waiter, so overall, a good experience. They also have a nice outdoor area, but we were there on a rainy, cold night so most people were indoors. It would be great out there on a summer night, though.

My title says it all about the Chart Room. It's typical for most tourist areas, but here I am again. You expect local seafood when you're on the coast, but lots of Sysco truck supplied products are my guess. Btw boiled lobster is great just about everywhere, but we wanted fried seafood for a lobster break. Generally disappointed in Bar Harbor because all parking in town is metered and seems to uniformly be $4.00 per hour. No all day rate that I know off, so our 4.5 hrs was $22.00. This applies to street parking and any scrap of ground or back alley they can put a meter on. The Chart Room is about 1.5 miles out of BH, so no pk problem. Tks

We really enjoyed our experience here! Our server Presley was super friendly and took great care of us.The food was fresh with good portions. We had mussels in white wine sauce which was great to share! The lobster stew was quite tasty but was more creamy and not much like a stew with a few pieces of lobster but was delightful. We had the Lazy Lobster which was nice to not have to deal with the shell! We also had the lobster Carbonara, Seafood Linguine and Shrimp Scampi (which was not on menu but we asked to sub for Lobster and Presley was able to accommodate us and it was AMAZINGLY good!) For dessert we had the blueberry pie (SO tasty and not too sweet) and pumpkin cheesecake. Everything was delicious. We got to sit outside which made our experience even better. We would highly recommend this place - Enjoy!
