Looking Glass Restaurant boasts an absolutely stunning view—it’s easily the best part of the experience and makes for a great atmosphere. The food was decent and the menu had a good variety to choose from.

However, the service was underwhelming. It took at least 20 minutes for our food to arrive, and the staff didn’t seem particularly attentive throughout the visit. While the menu itself is diverse, there weren’t many options clearly marked or tailored for those with dietary restrictions, which could be challenging for some guests.

Overall, it’s worth a visit for the view and a decent meal, but don’t expect exceptional service.

Do not waste your time with this place. The staff is very rude, the food is just okay, the only thing good is the view. My waiter was condescending and tried to rush me out of the restaurant from the moment I arrived. I am a black man and was distraught at the casual racism displayed by this waiter as well.

The service was really bad. The waitress was very rude and immediately brought me a check before I was even done eating without giving me a chance to order anything else. All of the staff were very inhospitable. The food was okay but not worth the poor service.

So…. The views are awesome. From some tables. You can’t walk around the building on the patio area. But my issue was the service. I was seated and the hostess clearly looked like she didn’t want to do anything extra. I was seated. Then the waiter came over and asked if I knew what I wanted to order but I was never given a menu. The food was fine, nothing special. But the hot chocolate didn’t have good flavor. It was a 1/5. I am hoping it was just a bad day, I would try it again because the views were great.

Parking: It’s an awkward angle for some of the spots but it’s free!

The 3.9 star average is a lie. This place is incredible. The views are spectacular, the food tastes fresh and like the kitchen staff care about what they are making. The breakfast skillet was great and the muffins were fluffy with a grilled crispness. If you want real food and good views with outdoor seating: this is the place for you.

Breakfast restaurant on the property of Bluenose and Wonderview Inns. Located in a detached building up a short hill. Great views if you can get a table early enough. Food was expensive and mediocre -- the hollandaise on my eggs benny was really acidic, and the potatoes tasted like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours.

Food was really good but the wait for the food was awful. Service was friendly but the waitress wasn’t very apologetic about the wait. They had the best blueberry muffin I have ever had. The view is also unmatched.

The view was amazing. The service was lacking, the glasses and mugs had lipstick and food remnants, and the food was average. Blueberries were fresh, pancakes kind of flat (8 out of 10). Benedict 5/10. However we parked right by the door, were seated immediately. Went into town afterwards where the lines for breakfast restaurants were out the doors. Sept 2024

Parking: At first glance it seems like a small lot but there’s room for you!
