One of the best meals, if not the best we had in Bar Harbor. It was a quiet but spirited room. We enjoyed the traditional guitar music and the service was excellent. The food was outstanding. The food choices, the preparation, the wine pairings, superb! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a change from the tourist vibe, not a bad thing, but just different.
Havana is touted to be the best restaurant in Bat Harbor. It's ok. If you are a party of two..no matter if you are celebrating an event you will be seated at underwhelming and dismal tables...no matter if you requested a window view. While the server assured us the bar staff was excellent..needed to send back a terrible cucumber martini. The waiter was to ck to see if one guest who is gluten free could order the steak...after a long time they admitted they forgot to ask. Food was ok and our table was dreadful to celebrate an anniversary.
Very nice & attentive waiter. Food was creative and delicious. Loud inside so a bit difficult to hear. Bar and bourbon selection was very good.
The food and service were fantastic. I should have asked for a table in a quieter part of restaurant because the music was too loud in our table near the wine room. Waiter was very efficient and took great care of us without checking in too often.
Loved it. I've been looking for their Paella my whole adult life. Perfect cocktails. Compared to rest of Bar Habor, feels like a restaurant that IYKYN. Only change I would make: while I enjoyed the contemporary jazz music, they should consider Gutierrez Hermanos, would be perfect background music her.
Creative and delicious cuisine. Service was outstanding. The menu is somewhat limited and there are few non-meat choices (just a few seafood or veggie entrees). Service and food quality were outstanding.
This restaurant deserves to be well-recommended. From the moment you arrive the service is outstanding. All our food choices were exceptional including the oysters, grilled octopus and the awesome seafood paella. If only this restaurant was near where we live!
Food and service were both what you would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Nothing exceptional, however everything was very good.
Havana had live music which was pleasant. The cocktails were very good ceviche appetizer we ordered was light and delicious. The entrees - Halibut and seafood paella were both very tasty. Our waitress was helpful and attentive but a bit pretentious for our liking. Overall I would recommend this restaurant.
The air conditioning was not working so the heat was quite uncomfortable. Otherwise food and service outstanding.

Lovely dinner and great service :) gambas, mussels, and grilled peaches were really good. It was a relaxing and fun dinning experience
Excellent meal — as always. Havana is one of our favorites. Food was top notch, service was good, the only sing was that the ac seemed to be struggling a bit. It was fairly warm in the restaurant. Otherwise, great time and meal.
Clearly deserving the James Beard nomination as one of America s best restaurants. Creative expertly prepared dishes. We experienced gazpacho and asparagus soup, filet mignon with pave potatoes and halibut with yucca water chestnuts and a flavorful curry sauce. Great service. Memorable experience
Outstanding attention to detail. From the moment we walked in we were treated with such care. We were celebrating our anniversary and the staff had a card on our table. Amuse bouche from the kitchen was a nice touch- you don't see that very often. We shared the spring rolls which are a menu staple— paired nicely with cocktails before excellent dinner entrees. My husband had halibut and I had the filet. Wonderful flavors and beautiful presentation. What stood out was the excellent service— attentive and helpful while being unobtrusive. This was a special place and we can't wait to come back!
We tried non-alcoholic drinks, and they were awesome! The bread is delicious, and our entrees were great. And the desserts! Don't miss the corn mousse!
