Let me tell you about this blueberry donut. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. I’m sure their other options are great, but I would go back to Bar Harbor for this blueberry donut alone.

I was so excited to visit this place. Povers and lobster rolls, were supposed to be the best. I went in ordered two popovers and paid for them and then I was told there was only one and I had to wait ten minutes for the next batch to come out. I took the one and then they had a hard time crediting me for the second. The popover was burned. I was so disappointed. I was hoping to go back and try the crepes, but with that experience, I did not. the staff was young and disorganized.

We went for lunch and coffees! Let me just tell you the sausage and peppers sandwich and the lobster B.L.A.T were AMAZING. Our coffees were so so good. We will definitely be coming back and recommending to others. All the staff were so kind and helpful! Thank you for a great experience!

If you are in Bar Harbor and you want the best popover in Maine paired with the best coffee in Bar Harbor, you must stop at The Stadium. Bella will help you choose the right flavor for your coffee, mine is maple! And don’t forget to get the maple butter for your popover. They have every type of sweet delight that you could ever want. I heard they have a very good lobster roll as well. I’m never in Bar Harbor that I don’t have multiple popovers that are warm from their oven. Don’t tell Acadia National Park, but these popovers are much better than the popovers served at Jordan Pond House.

Coffee beans were burnt. Made the coffee undrinkable

The Stadium in Bar Harbor was recommended to us for a lobster roll, and it was good! I’ll be honest, I don’t have much to compare it to, but the bun and sauce on this roll were absolutely delicious. If you’re a fan of cold lobster, I’d imagine this one would score really high. Personally, I would have preferred it warm, but I know that’s not the quintessential lobster roll experience.

We had popovers 2 years ago and it was great. But this year the experience was awful. The popovers were brought to table before the payment was done. They are lukewarm and not freshly made. When opening the bag, rather than butter milk smell, it is something like burn. The popovers looked brownish-black, instead the light golden color. The taste showed they were apparently overcooked. The clam chowder was OK. We also tried signature precipice flavored coffee. The taste is weird and I do not recommend.

I stopped by this bakery for a breakfast sandwich and was really impressed — it was delicious, hearty, and filling, exactly what you want to start the day. The bread was fresh and clearly baked in-house, which made a huge difference in flavor and quality.

One thing to note is that the bakery doesn’t have seating or public restrooms, so it’s best for grab-and-go rather than dining in. That being said, the food itself is well worth the stop if you’re looking for something tasty and satisfying on the move.
