Unenthusiastic host, not friendly or welcoming. If not for the atmosphere and view we would have left. Overpriced and mediocre food but our server was very nice. We felt not as relaxing an experience to we what hoped. The food, food presentation, and host service could use some work especially with the price points.

went on sunday 10/20/24. Hostess was extremely rude and bizarre. We asked a simple request and her one word response and tone dripping in contempt made it seem like we were unreasonable in asking. We would have had no problem seating ourselves and avoiding this extremely unpleasant interaction.
Everything else was fine, and the waiter thankfully did not have the same unpleasant attitude as the hostess.

Wanted to try this place for lunch and it did not disappoint— I had the Maine lobster dinner and it was all delicious. My husband had the lobster roll with a salad. Our server, Kevin, was very friendly and attentive. We were hoping to sit inside since it was quite breezy outside, but didn’t know they don’t serve inside until 4 p.m. and we didn’t want to wait. If you can eat inside it is much better—still pretty views without the elements! You can sit by the firepit, but I believe the menu is limited. Parking around Bar Harbor is tight—we managed to get a spot in the lot near the Inn.

Indoor and outdoor seating available and we chose to sit outside amongst the yellow umbrellas and enjoy the spectacular harbor views. Scrumptious menu with all things Maine seafood.
Parking: Street parking is also available at a cost. During peak season parking will be difficult to find because Terrace grill is located on THE strip.

We split the seafood platter: So-so clam chowder, over cooked clams but the muscles were good, the saving grace was the perfectly cooked lobster. Better options would recommend just getting a drink to enjoy the view and moving in for dinner.
