“We've been here three times in the past couple of months. A very warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Had their grilled reuben and hamburger (cooked med rare as asked) - both were great. Their breakfast burritos are delicious - eggs cooked just right (unlike so many places) with lots of freshly chopped veg. The coffee is delicious! We'll be back.“

“Wow this place so far exceeded expectations from minute one. We came in with my elderly aunt and everyone was so attentive and helpful. The hostess was able to get us seated in the tavern area fairly quickly in spite of them being very busy. The atmosphere was very interesting and there were intricate chalk drawings on the walls. The noise level was quieter than I would expect in a pub atmosphere so we were able to chat. The food was incredible, the oysters were super fresh and my only suggestion is to serve these with fresh lemon. For an entree I had French onion soup and a toasted mini baguette and it was delicious. My husband had the chicken which was also delicious and my aunt had the fish and chips which she seemed very pleased with.“

And it all begins with the owners, Zoli and Sarah, who are kind and honest as the day is long. We can’t speak highly enough of them, their crew and this establishment. I highly suggest The Reuben sandwich or the burgers are also great. Nicest young lady working a slow Monday lunch. If were ever in the area again, we'll be eating and drinking with the Robbers.“

“Vegan & GF review 8/14/25- I did a make your own pizza with gf crust, vegan cheese, mushrooms and the garlic oil base instead of red sauce. I will say the garlic was way too strong so I couldn’t taste anything else. I’d recommend sticking with red sauce here lol. In the past I’ve had red sauce instead and the pizzas are 🔥🔥that’s why I’m still giving it a 5 star rating.
This place was packed when we arrived at 6:30. They have lots of seating and the environment there is great with kids playing and happy dogs.
We knew ahead of time that we’d have to wait about 40 mins for our pizza as expected since it was so busy. Worth the wait and it would be fun to bring some games to play while waiting.“

“They always have some of the best fried food around, especially the onion rings!!!
The scallops portion seemed a little small at first, but the cook noticed the same and brought out a few more, which made me feel they cared about their food and customers. I stop here every year after Monkey C, and you should too!

“This is a new place that just opened last year and is seems very clean. They also have cooked our food fresh to order each time we have been there and is also fast. The chicken strips are big and juicy with a good spice with a variety of dipping sauces offered. The fried fish was our favorite even though they were both excellent. We also enjoyed waffle fries, honey biscuits and red beans and rice. The Boudin balls was an item we have never tried before but found them very tasty. The staff was also very friendly. It could be hard to miss because it is right next to a laundry mat and there is not a sign on the door, just by the road.“

“First off the service was great. Very friendly staff and very quick service. Nice atmosphere and great view from where we sat. Now the food. We got bowl of clam chowder, steamed clams, a crab/lobster roll with sweet potato fries and a soda and ice tea. Our bill came out to $130.00! Really? My husbands food was good and my ice tea and sweet potato fries were good. The combo crab/lobster roll was lousy. Could be one of the worst ones I’ve ever had. Kitchen staff you served me crab meat that stunk and tasted like ammonia. I used to work in the restaurant industry and sold seafood and folks that is bad news. I gagged it down and tried not to complain too much because my husband really wanted to check this place out. I did tell the waiter I didn’t care for my meal. I also made the mistake of getting it with drawn butter and no mayo. They didn’t serve it right or because they used borderline bad seafood it didn’t work. I’ve had the warmed lobster rolls before and it was delicious down in the Portland area. Unfortunately we will never eat here again and would not recommend it…. BTW Red Eats in Damariscotta is a long wait but the food was well worth the wait and the money. If you want to spend a lot of money on a lobster dinner go there…. Sorry Taste of Maine places like yours I’m sure usually works on food quality but you failed big time yesterday.“

“We love the Marketplace for breakfast, especially their cinnamon bun or potato pancake specials. However, now they are open for dinner Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evenings. Great menu and great specials. The Italian fish special last week was outstanding. Compared to other restaurants it is very inexpensive. I highly recommend it.“

“I went to Peppers Landing at 11:30 for lunch and ordered the Brunswick lobster roll. The roll was tough and dry and I asked the server when this was cooked. They could only tell me it's reheated on the grill. This was The worst lobster roll I have ever had. The restaurant manager was gracious enough to give me a whopping $5 discount for the food. This meal was 30.00 including fries and Cole slaw. I will never go back.“

“We had the best meal here. You can't beat the the value. We had the 2 meals for $25. We each got a fresh salad and the 6 oz steak with steamed broccoli and garlic potatoes. It was delicious! The service here was also excellent. The wait staff was very responsive and friendly. We'll be stopping by again soon.“
